The first time the robot had opened up it's eyes, she was so surprised that she had stood up so quickly that she had slammed her toe onto the leg of the table and yelled from the sudden pain.

"Bajesus that hurt did it!" She yelled, grabbing her foot as she jumped around for a little bit.

A sudden hiccup interrupted her as she turned to see the robot with a down turned head, its hands covering its face as it made sobbing like sounds, even though no tears came out.

It was crying.

Or attempting to, anyway.

"Oh, uh..." Bubbly said, taking a step towards the robot with her hand outstretched, "H... Hey..."

She didn't know how to comfort the robot.

Well, she didn't know how to comfort anyone, really. Maybe she should go get Wocong...

No, she wouldn't do that.

Not today.

"Are you a'okay?" She asked softly, sitting down next to the robot.

Its voice came out in garbled, unidentifiable sentences, making the female realize that she must've screwed up the voice box while building it. That was one of the parts that Gaster didn't have a blueprint on, and she had to try and make it herself.

"Oh, sorry," She said, looking around for something that could help the robot to be able to speak.

It wasn't hard to find something. Bubbly always kept a small notebook near her, easily accessible, since sometimes she would need to keep notes on her surroundings or something such as that. The notebook was on the edge of the table she had just been sitting at, an open pen laying across the top since she had just used it mere minutes ago.

"Here'a," She said, reaching over to grab the object.

Bubbly handed it to the silver robot, setting it onto his lap before she tapped his shoulder.

"Do y'all even know how t'a read an'write?" She asked, before she paused from confusion, "Wait, can ya even understand me?"

The robot lowered his hands from his eyes, well, more like processing cameras that could scan an area and detect things. Sure, Gaster was probably insane, but he was still smart.

He nodded, his fingers shaking unstably as he wrote out some words before flashing them to her.

'I can understand you'

"Oh, that's'a good," She said, smiling at him weakly, "My name's Bubbly. How 'bout you?"

' Kollectly. My name is Kollectly.'

Things carried on from there in a smooth path for the rest of the day.

She didn't pressure him about why he was crying when he first woke up, they went over the basics first, such as, how to get used to his new metal body. She had taught him the basics, such as how to walk, since he had a new sense of balance that would be hard to get used to, so he was stumbling through the room for awhile. Bubbly helped him, but since he was made out of a lot of metals, he was pretty heavy and she wasn't that much help in that aspect.

But he did manage to get the hang of it, and soon he was able to walk around with only a few trips here and there that he was able to recover from rather quickly.

There was no way to avoid him finding the article on his found body.

Bubbly had saw the newspaper announcing how Gaster was wanted for murder and how his assistant had been the one who found a teenagers body, also with the name Kollectly, and how the family now could have a funeral for their loved one.
