"Did you guys hear?"

Ink stopped in his spot, Cross following shortly after. Alphys and Flowey perked up, everyone looking at the person.

"There's a ship getting people to escape," They told them hurriedly, "It's not even that far!"

"What?" Everyone asked.

"I'm telling everyone I can," The person said, "But if you guys head straight there now, you guys can get there in under ten minutes. It's just west of here, on the shore."

"That's amazing!" Cross said.

We can escape! Chara chanted in his head.

"Do you think we'll a-all be able to get there w-with I-Ink's disability?" Alphys asked the others.

"I may be slower, but we all should be able to," Ink said.

"Uh, guys," Flowey said quietly.

The other person hurried off wherever while Alphys and Cross talked excitedly, Ink adding in with his monotone voice. Flowey stayed back, trying to gather their attention.

His attempts weren't very successful.

"And we can see the real sky for once!" Alphys said.

"Guys-" Flowey said.

"And we'll be far enough away from Asgore to be safe," Cross added.

"Guys-" He repeated.

"Not to mention I can get my legs healed up," Ink said, "And get the medicine again."

"GUYS!"

Everyone stopped and looked over at the flower, caught off by his sudden outburst. He sighed, adjusting on his roots.

"I'm not going," Flowey said.

"Why not?" Cross asked.

Wasn't that what everyone wanted, to be free from Asgore? Why wouldn't Flowey want to be free? After everything they had all gone through, they would finally be free.

"I was supposed to die years ago, and I may be taking someone else's place on that boat," Flowey said, "I'd rather go do something more helpful that I should have done long ago. I need to stop Asgore, distract him so you all can get away."

"Are you sure that's what you want?" Cross asked.

"It's alright if I die, I was supposed to die long ago," Flowey said, "And Alphys, shouldn't you go help Undyne? Help her get to the boat?"

"I-I should, actually," Alphys said, "Do you two think you'll be able to get to the boat on your own?"

"If that's what you both desire," Ink said, "Then we'll head off without you."

"Wait, we want to come."

Just then, two figures came out of the shadows, everyone glancing at their direction.

"Wait, that's the guy who knocked me out in the castle," Ink said.

"And that's the guy who helped me escape," Cross said as well.

Vampires.

"Hello again," Nightmare said, waving at him.

I'm writing the rest of this story in one go, I'm trying to get it over as soon as possible because I want to work on my other Sanscest stories. So hopefully I'll get this book done soon because I'm having a hard time writing this.
