Chapter XXIII

JENNIE'S POV

"Sorry but she's being so noisy. I just shut her up, darlin'" the man from the other line said.

With those lines, I cried harder. I don't know what to do, I could feel that my heart is beating so fast and anytime I could collapse. I feel like someone I love was hurt because of me and Lisa was hurt because of me. I keep on blaming myself. Until I can't contain my anger and pain, I shouted Lisa's name once again.

"LISAAAA!!!! PLEASE DON'T HURT HER!" I said begging the man in the other line.

"I'm afraid that I just did." His deep voice gave me goosebumps.

"Lisa! Please talk! Lisa!" I keep on screaming. I was panting so hard. I could feel that anytime soon my heart is going to burst.

"Jen.." I heard someone calling me "Jennie!" I feel someone shaking me.

"Jennie wake up you're dreaming!" It was Jisoo who's constantly shaking my body.

When I opened my eyes I saw her really worried. "What the hell is going on?" she asked me. I was not able to answer her immediately but when I came back to my senses I look around and looking for Lisa.

"Wh-where's Lisa? Wh-what happened to her? Tell me she's okay unnie please." I cried looking for her.

"Jennie you were dreaming." She said. Thank God it was all just a dream or else I don't know what to do anymore.

"What happened?" she asked.

"I-it was a dream?" I said breathing heavily. "Thank God it was just a dream" I cried again.

"You fell asleep on the couch while holding your phone and after some minutes I heard you screaming Lisa's name I thought you were dreaming about something naughty but you started yelling to don't hurt her and I saw you, you were crying. I've been waking you up for 5 minutes." She explained.

Jisoo gave me cold water and I drink it up immediately. I was soaked in sweat. That dream feels like real and my heart feels in pain. I look up my phone and it has an ongoing call with Lisa and I could hear that she's talking in the other line so I put it closer to my ear.

"Lisa, are you there?" I asked hoping that she's okay

"Baby, I'm on my way to you now. I'll be there in a minute okay? Stop crying please." When I heard her voice I feel calm. At least I know that she's fine. That dream shit me up.

After a few minutes, we heard loud knocks and Jisoo checks it. When Jisoo opened the door Lisa rushed to go inside and Jisoo was left in there.

"Okay, let's skip the greetings I guess?" I heard Jisoo.

Lisa ran to me, her eyes are worried but she looks really exhausted. She hugs me as soon as she saw me.

"What happened to you?" she said while hugging me. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" she bombarded me with questions. I was so happy seeing her alive, in front of me.

"You're here now. I'm okay now." I said softly and she hugs me tighter.

"You scared me. I thought something bad happened." She said to me.

While the both of us are still hugging I heard Jisoo coughs. "Don't forget me here." She said and I threw a pillow at her.

"Hug that then!" I yelled at her. Jisoo did hug the pillow and acted like they are making out. Lisa and I laugh at her silliness.

"Tell me, what happened?" Lisa finally asked me as soon as we sit.

"I dreamed about something bad happened to you," I said lowering my head but Lisa holds my chin up.
