"Yeah, we haven't a clue of where he or Duke are," Chloe called over. Buddy, Sweetpea and Pepe nodded their heads in silent agreement. However, Mel remarked as he scratched his ear, "You know, I think I saw the both of them disappear in some bushes over at the dog park." An awkward silence fell upon the apartment as the others slowly turned their heads to glare at Mel coldly.

Meanwhile, Gidget felt like she was gonna have a full blown heart attack. I've gotta save Max! she told herself. Shaking off her worries, she called back over, "Where do you guys go for dog walks?"
"Washington Square Park. Why-" Buddy didn't get a chance to finish his question as the five pets watched, in a mixture of horror and excitement, Gidget jumping out of her open window and plummeting rapidly towards the sidewalk below. "Look! Dogs can fly after all!" Mel yipped happily, his curly tail wagging. Sweetpea chirped sharply before whacking the pug on the back of the head.

Landing upon an awning, Gidget found herself shooting upwards. Screaming, she flew through the open window in Max's apartment and landed on top of Chloe. Getting off the gray tabby cat and shaking her fur, she declared, "I'm just... gonna use the stairs. I'll see you guys later!" With that, she headed off towards the dog park.
