"Come on Max, this way!" Duke called over his shoulder as he and his brother raced along the sidewalks in Brooklyn. Sniffing the air, Max's mouth watered as he recognized a certain scent. "Is that what I think it is?!" he questioned. Duke's only answer was a sly smile. Ears perked up with excitement, Max picked up the pace. As he ran as fast as he could to catch up with the bigger dog while swerving around pedestrians, the Jack Russell terrier kept whispering to himself, "Please be what I think it is, please oh please oh please be it."

After a sprint that accidently caused a man drop his bags of groceries, Max and Duke skidded to a halt in front of an immense factory. The air was heavy with the scent of sausages. "It smells so good..." Max mumbled dreamily. Tongue hanging out, his brother rushed past him. Tail wagging, the terrier followed the giant mutt towards some carts. Jumping in them, the two dogs were given a free ride into the factory. What awaited them was beyond their wildest imaginations.

One could say that the pair had hit the sausage jackpot because there were all kinds of sausages wherever the two dog brothers looked as they rode through...
