Feeling exhausted from their close encounter with the animal control officers, Max slowed down to a walk. Duke followed suit. Glancing over at his brother, Max realized that they were both missing their collars. He also had no idea where they were in the city. "Duke," he mumbled, "I think we're lost." The giant mutt merely groaned in response.

Just then, an animal control van roared by them, giving Duke a near heart attack. But as Max looked closer, there was a pig with tattoos and a lizard in the driver's seat. In the back, the doors were swinging as a white rabbit cheered at the top of his lungs while standing on a boxer's broad head. As soon as they came, the van and animals disappeared into a nearby alley, where it crashed into a brick wall. Bewildered, Max and Duke went after it...
