"Here we are, Brooklyn!" Max exclaimed. He and Duke were stepping onto the shores of Brooklyn. Both glanced over their shoulders at Manhattan. "It seems so far away now..." Duke mumbled wistfully, staring at the skyscrapers longingly. Looking up at his brother, Max asked softly, "Do you want to head back home?"
"We came all this way Max, we can't turn back now," Duke replied. The giant mutt shuddered slightly as he added, "I also don't want to take a chance of bumping into Snowball or any of the Flushed Pets on accident. We should just stay on this side of the Brooklyn Bridge until things die down over in Manhattan."
"Relax Duke, we'll never have to see or worry about Snowball and his circus of psychotic animals ever again," Max reassured Duke. Looking back over at Manhattan, he continued quietly, "Though you do have a point."
Suddenly, Duke's stomach growled loudly.
"I'm also afraid you ate an angry grizzly bear," Max commented. Smiling sheepishly, Duke shuffled his foot nervously as he replied, "I suppose I am getting a little but hungry." His stomach growled again.
"A little?" Max repeated, raising an eyebrow.
"I know a place where we can eat though," Duke brightened up. Sniffing the air, he went on, "Follow me!"
