Passing by the creepy snakes, Max found himself in a dark and spooky underground cavernous room. "Welcome to the Underbelly! Home of the Flushed Pets!" Snowball cried in an excited voice, hopping up and down before leading the way. Max and Duke shared a look of worry.

As he followed Snowball, Max saw animals of all kinds crawling all over the place. He could've sworn his heart stopped when he saw a crocodile exit the sewer water and walk up on shore, a hamster riding on his head. The terrier smiled nervously at the giant reptile before hurrying after Duke and Snowball. He could feel eyes burning into his flesh as they finally arrived at what seemed like a plaza underground.
