"I have returned from the surface everyone!" Snowball announced loudly so he could be heard by all of the animals gathered at the plaza. Smiling big, the white rabbit continued, "Not only were we successful in rescuing little Smoky from the evil animal control, we also have two new recruits. They're owner killers!" At those last words, everyone broke out into cheering. Max and Duke hid their fear behind smiles.

Thumping his foot rapidly on the wooden planks to regain the attention, Snowball went on, "I know you all want to hear the story of how they did it, so let's hear it!" Turning to face Max and Duke, the rabbit motioned for them to tell their story. The two dogs looked at each other nervously.

"Uh, well you see... we went left and right and... that's how we did it," Max answered.
"Give us details!" Tattoo shouted, backed by other shouts.
"Okay... there's this thing in the... kitchen," Max began again.
"The refrigerator!" Duke cried.
"It's used everyday-"
"Bowl!"
"And it has a handle-"
"Drawer!"
"And humans use it to eat-"
"Table leg!"

"A spoon?!" Snowball guessed. Max nodded his head. Jaw dropping, Snowball pointed out, "You can't hurt anyone with a spoon, that thing is used for scooping."

"Well, we used the spoon on the humans to knock them out and we shoved them into this... thing that cooks," Duke went on. Nodding his head, Max concluded, "And then we put them in this thing that has blades and blends."

"You put them in an oven and then in a blender!" Snowball cried happily, his face lighting up. Duke nodded his head slowly.
