After having watched Pops get hit by a metal beam only to miraculously survive while they got trapped under a bunch of wooden planks, the search party were beginning to wonder why they had blindly put their trust in an elderly basset hound when Pops suddenly fell of a building... again. The animals halted in their tracks.
"Are you kidding me right now?!" Chloe hissed with annoyance. Sweetpea chirped with a slight irritated tone. Mel, Buddy and Norman shook their heads in sadness while Tiberius and Ozone collapsed in exhaustion. Curious, Gidget stepped forward to discover a long yellow tube. "Guys, I think he's alive!" she yipped, getting everyone's attention. They quickly swarmed around her.

"Do we have to go down that thing?" Buddy questioned. Without warning, Gidget jumped in. Sighing, he murmured, "Guess we are." He followed suit, Mel by his side. Sweetpea went after them with Ozone and Chloe on his tail. Norman jumped in last. Peering down, Tiberius rolled his eyes before diving over the edge.
Sliding through the tube, Gidget laughed with excitement. Behind her, Mel and Buddy cried out in terror as they hugged each other for dear life. Sweetpea was trying to fly as fast as he could while Ozone practically rocketed down. Chloe was tumbling head over heels. Cheering, Norman was rolling all over the place as the group descended down the tube, eventually making it to the bottom. Fortunately, their fall was broken by something soft. Unfortunately, most of them were trapped under Chloe. From where he was on top of the pileup, Norman cried, "Let's do that again!"
"Let's not do that again!" Chloe grumbled.
"My stomach..." Buddy groaned. Sweetpea let out a chirp before collapsing face first on the ground.
"I saw my life flash before my eyes..." Mel wheezed, staring at the sky.
"I think I broke something!" Ozone meowed, Chloe on his back.
"Is everyone here?" Pops asked as he strolled over. Looking around, Gidget counted quietly, "One two three four five six seven eight... are we missing someone?" Hearing that, the others started searching for familiar faces, quickly finding their friends. None of them bothered to get up though since Chloe refused to move. Hopping down, Norman appeared confused as he asked, "Where's Tiberius?"
"Who?" Mel mumbled.

Just then, Gidget felt something move underneath her. Already getting a bad feeling, she glanced down to see a wing. "Guys, get up!" she barked. Startled, everyone rolled off the red tailed hawk that had been at the wrong place at the wrong time. Flipping over onto his back, Tiberius rasped, "Finally... air..." Norman bounded over and hugged him.
Sighing softly, Gidget turned towards Pops, who was standing in front of a drainage pipe. Smiling, he declared, "Welcome to the sewers."
