*Creighton's pov*

At the end of the day Abby came running up to me. I chuckled as her blond curls bounced up and down. She was really cute.

But I don't think I'd ever see her as more than a sister. In a way she reminds me of a younger sister. I'd care for her and love her but it would never be the love that I would have for Jesssamine.

"Creighton do you want to come over after school?" She asked. I knew she was trying to get me away from my dad.

"I can't," I said. My father would be even angrier if I didn't show up at my house when he expected me. I didn't feel like getting beaten up again. But I knew it would happen either way.

"Please, Creighton?" Abby's soft brown eyes pleaded.

"Okay. Where's Alex?" I asked.

"Right behind you. You should look around before asking dumb questions," he said before moving so I could see him.

Alex was a lot like me just shorter. He had long black hair and blue eyes.

"Sorry shorty," I chuckled. He hated that so much.

He mumbled something and neither Abby or I could hear it.

"Say it to my face, Alex," I smirked and he just shook his head at me.

We started walking home. I hadn't seen Jessamine for the rest of the day. I couldn't believe she wore color changing contacts.

Why would she do that? What exactly is so important about eye color? I kept trying to think of why a person would ever want to change their eye color but I couldn't think of anything.

Alex got to his house and then said good-bye. Abby and I continued to walk to her house.

"I love that shirt, by the way," I told her breaking the silence. I didn't want it to be awkward.

"Thanks. What's your favorite band?" She asked me.

"Well that all depends on the day. Some days it's We Came as Romans. Others it's Black Veil Brides or Breaking Benjamin," I told her honestly. I never could decide on my favorite band. It was really hard.

"That's cool. Mine is Black Veil Brides. And no I don't like them because Andy's hot," she rolled her eyes. A lot of people who hated them would say that a person only likes them because of Andy.

We got to her house and she unlocked the door.

"What do you want to do? Watch movies?" She asked as she dropped her bag on the floor.

"Sure. Do you have the Transformers movies?" I asked her and put my bag down and followed her into her living room.

"Duh!" She said like I should have known.

She put them in and then she went to make popcorn. I sat on the couch and looked around the living room. It was a fairly simple room. White walls and a beige carpet with matching furniture. A big screen tv in the center of the room.

Abby came back and I smelled the popcorn. My mouth began to water as she sat next to me.

I reached for the popcorn but she smacked my hand away. I looked at her curiously.

"I do not share my buttery piece of heaven," she smirked and moved the bowl away.

"Well you do now," I said and started to tickle her. She practically screamed and dropped the bowl on the couch. I reached over and took it and smirked at her. She was now pouting.

"Give me it back," she pouted.

"Are you going to share?" I asked her, refusing to give her the popcorn.
