Chapter 42: Mission Start

We went in the car and Leorio started driving. Kurapika wore a disguise so people won't recognise him.  After a while, my phone started ringing.

"It's Killua" I said.

"Answer him" said Kurapika. I nodded and answered him. I put him on speaker so everyone could hear.

"For some reason, there are more buildings" he said.

"That is most likely a Conjurer's work" said Kurapika.

"Yeahs it's gotta be" said Killua.

"Those buildings weren't here yesterday. This has to be Nen.

"Man, these guys are really crazy. They have someone who can Conjure up entire buildings" said Leorio.

"It's safe to assume they're rigged somehow" I said.

"Yeah. That tells us they're still using that building as their base. The problem is that these building create too many blind spots. I can only cover 20% of the area at a time" said Killua.

"However, if you run around too much then there might be a chance that you'll run into one of them" said Kurapika.

"I'd like to avoid that. I mean I don't know what I'd do if I heard their voices behind me. My heart is pounding" said Killua.

"Voices..." muttered Kurapika.

"What?" 

"Never mind. I get you" said Kurapika.

"Wait. If a person really made these buildings then don't you think they can sense whatever comes inside them? Like En?" I asked.

"En?" asked Gon.

"It's thing when you expand the aura that is around you to cover more ground. Normally it's like 1 or 2 millimetres around you, but when activating En, it expands and you can sense anything that goes through" I explained.

"How do you know that?" asked Gon.

"Wing-san told me about it" I said.

"For now, return to your original position. Because if what Y/N said is true then they'll discover that someone's watching them" said Kurapika.

"Alright" said Killua and hung up.

"Do you really think that what I said is true?" I asked.

"You were right before, but I didn't listen to you. So I should at least show you that I trust you now" said Kurapika and smiled at me.

"T-There's no need for that" I said and looked out of the window. Kurapika then dialed a number on his phone.

"Hello Melody, how're things going on your end?" He said and started having a conversation with Melody. I kept on thinking about the plan me and Gon thought up of earlier. 'Was it gonna work? Will we pull it off? What if we fail?' I started thinking about these thought until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Gon with a huge smile on his face.

"Don't worry! We can do it" he said. I looked at him then smiled.

"Yep" I nodded.

After a while, we stopped and waited for Killua to call. Gon's phone rang and he answered.

"Killua?"

"The woman's there. She's with her buddies. They are 6 moving all together. The top-knot guy is here too. One more thing. There's one person that wasn't there yesterday. He's probably their leader" he said.
