There is one thing that's still pressing on my mind. And as soon as Ratchet enters into the room, and I look at his optics, I know it's time to face it.
Face him.

"Optimus." I say.

"Yes." The medic responds, and I can tell he knows how I'm probably feeling right now. Nervous. Worried. And slightly terrified.

"Where is he?"

"On his way."

"Alright." I purse my lips, hoping my nerves are at least slightly concealable. Except one of the screens next to the berth starts beeping rapidly. That's when I notice there's still a couple wires attached to my chest and going towards the machines. My head snaps towards them, and I quickly try to pull the wires away.

"Careful with that." Ratchet walks towards me, and helps me remove them, without the panicking trembling that my own hands show.

"I wish I could be as calm as you are." I close my eyes and grimace, giving up on trying to appear calm and collected.

"It's going to be ok, Caelyn." Ratchet responds, placing the wires to the side.

"Maybe..." I look away, and I fidget with my own hands, still finding the slight sound that the metal makes strange. I feel my insides twist within me, anxiety growing in my chest. Then my optics move towards the insignia on my chest. That thing...
I let out a sigh and cover my face with my hands.

"Jolt and I have explained the situation regarding how you... well, look now." Ratchet explains, noticing my obvious signs of distress.

"Did he say anything?" I mumble through my hands.

"Not much." Well, at least Ratchet is honest. Sure, the responses might add onto my anxiety, but at least it's the truth.

"How bad is it?"

"What do you mean?"

"The..." I pause. Slowly, I slide my servos through my face, then dropping them on my lap. "The damage I did."

Because he didn't come to see me right away. Optimus wasn't here. So I must've really done it and screwed up to an astronomic level. What could he be thinking of right now? Is he sad? Angry? I'm not sure how I'd take a lecture right now. Or worse, a look of disappointment.

"You're thinking too much, Caelyn." Ratchet places a servo on my shoulder, and it's like he could see into my brain and read all the rushing thoughts within. I look up at him with uncertainty. "Optimus is not someone who holds a grudge."

"He wasn't here, Ratch." I whisper. He didn't have it in him to stay in the base while I was gone, and he didn't respond comms when I was found. Only now is he coming here, and I don't have anything to prepare myself.

"I'm sure he had his reasons." He responds, patting my shoulder. I don't reply, optics losing focus as my mind begins wandering once more. After a moment, the medic speaks again, once more as if he was reading my mind.
"When have you known Prime to not be kind about things?"

Right... but what if this time is different?

"Have some faith in him, Cael."

"Are you accepting visitors?" Another voice comes from the entrance of the room. I peek from Ratchet's side to find the black weapons' specialist looking at me with a smirk.

Ratchet offers me a small supportive squeeze on the shoulder and starts leaving.

"Don't stress her out too much." The medic, warns.
