"WAKEY WAKEY LEEEEEEX!"

I groan, not wanting to wake up. "The fuck is wrong with you Jack?" I turn over in bed and cover my face with my blanket. I laid there in warm comfort for approximately twenty seconds before being tossed off of my bed because Jack decided my bed was the best place to begin jumping. "JACK!" I scream.

Jack just laughs and lays on me on the floor. "Get the fuck off! I wanna sleep!" I try to wiggle out from under him. For being a tall man who is practically all bone, he's heavy as SHIT.

"Nope," Jack chuckles.

"Fine," I yawn, "I'll sleep here then. That's fine." I wrap his arm under my head to use as a pillow and I grip my fingers into his skin so he can't move.

"Ow, fuck! Let me go, you little shit!" Jack tries to yank his arm out of my grip but he only makes my nails dig in deeper.

"So sleepy," I mutter. Next thing I know, I'm falling asleep again.

-

I wake up to feeling like I'm falling, like in those nightmares. A scream leaves my lips as I landed on couch cushions. I look up groggily and Jack is huddled over in tears from laughing.

"Jack you better run, I'm gonna kick your ass!" I ignore the rest of the guys - minus Alex - laughing as I jump off the couch and run after Jack. He took off out of the mansions' incredibly large living room and down one of the many halls. I decide to take a shortcut and pass through one of the rooms and manage to intersect where Jack was going. "Dick!" I yell as I jump on Jack's back. I pinch and tickle Jack as he screams and tries to knock me off of him. I'm reminded of Melody, my cat from the orphanage, who would do the same thing where she wouldn't let me take her off of me.

"Okay you win!" Jack lets out, breathlessly as he chokes on his own laughter.

"Nope!" I jump off of him and pants him and book it back to the living room. "Zack help me!" I run behind the couch Zack is sitting on. I hear Jack's frantic footsteps as he tries to yank his pants back up.

Zack chuckles and says, "No can do, kid. He's after you." He holds his hands up in surrender.

I run from my hiding place behind the couch and book it up the stairs. I run to the second floor, the one he wouldn't expect because my room isn't here, and into one of the seven rooms and climb straight into a closet. Surprisingly, there's shit in this closet so hiding under it will be easy. I spot a bin, large enough for me to hide in. I quickly empty it of the scarves that were in it (that's odd) and I scamper inside.

I'm not sure how long I stayed inside the bin. I heard footsteps, many of them, throughout the time I was there. I distinctly remember Jack yelling, "I'm gonna tickle the shit out of you!" and various empty threats. He has still yet to find me.

All I know is that I've been here too long and I'm not giving up my spot. I feel my phone buzz in my pocket. I forgot I had it on me, so I set it to silent and open up the notification.

Alex: I just can't do this anymore. She's a child but she's so IMMATURE. I don't know how to talk to her. I don't know how to be a dad. I don't know what to say to her right now, her and Jack are acting like fucking toddlers and fighting and playing Hide 'n' Seek. It's ridiculous. You said for sure all her family is dead?

My mouth drops open. What the fuck? My phone buzzes again.

Alex: Shit. It's not what it sounds like. I swear.

I climb out of my bin and run out of the room. Jack was standing right there and I shove past him. "Hey where were y-" I ignore him calling after me as I run up the last flight of stairs to make it to my room.
