Part 2.5 (Lucas' POV in chap 2)
Lucas POV
Jeezus! My head is bursting and I never got any sleep, not that many do in a hospital I guess...Well now I know why dad's dying...and that the same'll happen to me if Ren dies, at least some will... I went and grabbed some food and headed to her room.
She's so angelic in her sleep... her hair looked more blue than black somehow in the lights but it looked natural... the heart moniter was the only way I knew she was alive; her body barely moved as she slept...she looked like a-a corpse...the woman across the room looked more alive even with all those tubes.
I set the breakfast on tthe bedside table and held her hands...there so small... and I bent down and shut my thinking of last night...
FLASHBACK (WOO!)
"Dear wake up." Whispered my dad.
"DAD!" I hissed, "Dont wake up mum, she needs rest! We can talk tomorrow-er, today in the morning!"
"Don't bother Lucas I'm a wake...what is it honey?" Mum whispered.
"Lucas has found his mate. Here at the hospital." Dad said smiling
Mum looked shocked then she did something weird, she started to cry and squeal!
"Th-thank you God!" She finally blubbered. She looked so happy and relieved I glanced at dad and I gasped as I saw some silent tears fall over his cheeks...He just stared at my mother like a jewel, he was so glad to see her happy.
"I wanna meet her!!" She said clapping.
"Hold on dear, we still have to explain and tell him everything."
END OF FLASHBACK
I snapped out it as I heard a melodic voice, "Ahem, I kinda need those to get out of bed." I looked up and there she was smiling so lovely I just stared at her trying to memorize everything, her hair wavy from sleeping...her grey-gold eyes that glittered...her cheeks and lips just slightly flushed...
"Good morning"
"Hi Mr.Stalker"
My face fell a little...did she not like me here?! Should I leave?
Then she was in front of me and kissed my cheek... It tingled where her lips brushed my skin, and I realised the "Stalker" comment was a joke. So, I smiled broadly relieved and she did too. Then I turned so I could give her breakfast, she started to smile when her eyes landed on the rose. She froze for a moment while my mind was going nuts, "STUPIDSTUPIDSTUPID!!!" "WAS IT TOO MUCH?!?!"
Then, BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!!! OH CRAP IS SHE OKAY?! Then I saw she was as red as the rose and smirked laughing at myself at how whipped I was on a girl I haven't know for even a day.
Nurses ran in I guess expecting her to be in cardiac arrest and then saw me and the flower some looked touched while the older ones muttered, "He's going to be the death of her..." that scared me and I wondered if I was bothering her and glanced back at Ren, she was just stareing at them with venom laced daggers shooting out. They hurried away...with my ears I heard the older one trip and chuckled,
"Well they're gonna think twice bout messin' with you." I smirked
She just stuck her tounge out at me with an adorable expression and started on a bagel half I brought. I was glad she was eatting so I sat in silence for the moment...watching her as she ate, she was really cute...
"So why're you here Lucas?" She asked between bites, she just had curiosity in her eyes no disdain so I just said,
"I wanted to ask you if you wanted to see if you were up for a visit." Oh shit I stuttered a bit but she didn't seem to notice.
She just scoffed and said, "Well sure I'm fine if you visit, better than them." She just pointed toward the door where the nurses left with her little thumb.
I chuckled remembering their haste while feeling happy she liked me. "No I mean YOU visit some people." I blushed a little thinking of her and my parents...
She swallowed and just asked "Who?"
"My parents are patients here and wanna meet you" I stated.
She looked scared, and I felt the same thinking she was weirded out by me asking her to meet some people she did'nt know.
I gave her a small squeeze on her knee, "It'll be okay, they just wanna meet my new...friend." I forced out the last part, wanting it to be more...
"Okay."
A/N: Woookay thats all I just wanted to do his side and ended up doing more than I thought... but it's all good right? YES, YES IT IS! Anyway as a lil' contest the first one to guess right what my profile pic is gets Lucas's mom named after them! Cuz I'm a lil stuck... if I don't get a guess by tommorow or whenever I write next I'll just make one up and use the contest later for a charactor or something...
