I thought school would be a lot different
From whatever the heck I just came out of
Nothing in this poem's gonna rhyme, but you
Wont notice because your brains are fried from finals
Don't get me wrong, I love a good ballet,
But when I picked dance, I thought something different
This is not what I asked for
I regret my decision.
My point shoes aren't broken
My ties have gone through heck
P.E. who?
And trust me, I adore art. But why do we all have
to do the exact same project. It makes me feel less of
A decent artist. Plus I always have art block.
And when I don't, my art is depressing
I dont try to do it, I try to stay pg
But something inside me just tells me
"Pg is super boring, be original" but then I end up
Getting an A because I did what I was told to
The stairs get me every time
But surprisingly I've fallen
37% less than 7th grade
Now to repeat the process in high school
I'm sorry math teacher,
But I asked my grandmother
"Did you ever use the quadratic equation
in any part of your life"
And she laughed very dramatically and said "no."
Covalent bonds have circles and the other one is the other thingy
We dropped an egg we named sam

We made a magnet from a half used battery
Also the bowling ball and the feather reached the ground at the same time because there was no air pressure... or was it gravity...?
We talked about religions that I didn't remember existed
And a lot bout Africa
And how wealthy is Africa
It would be insanely wealthier if everyone
didn't steal all the natural resources
But in the end I know old timey countries in like 4 other continents
I liked the books we read this year except for ransom thing by O Henry
When they couldve knocked the child out or something
They clearly don't know how to kidnap a kid, that's pretty sad
But in a good way I guess
Also that princess chose the tiger dont @ me
I came here on my own accord
That's a lie I'm forced to be here
To prepare myself for a future job
With a future husband and some future kids
It gives me anxiety problems that'll haunt me forever

Because school is... something
Something good but something bad
Either sanity or straight As
This years going to be so much worse though
