I woke up to the meowing of a kitten.
It's annoying, distracting, and loud.
The only way it'll quiet down is a long sip of water.
So I gave it some water.
The same thing happened the next day. And the next.
It gets annoying. It gets distracting. It gets loud.
And so day after day,
I give it some water.
But the kitten was never satisfied.
It never had enough.
No matter how much water I give it.
It always comes back for more.
But when push comes to shove.
And the kitten is meowing.
I sit down
And take a sip of water.
