Anne yanked Gilbert into the hallway.
She didn't know what to do.

"I don't know what to do!" She complained to him.

"Ruby hates me all the girls pity me and now me and you are now public and exposed" she said, placing her face in her hands

"So there's a you and me huh?" Gilbert asked, smirking.

"Not the time." Anne rolled her eyes at him. He can be so annoying at times.

Gilbert pulled in for a hug.
"You'll figure it out..." he said calmly whilst rubbing her back.

She felt so relaxed and I helped her think.
"I know!" She exclaimed. Pulling away from Gilbert's arms.

"What?!" Gilbert smiles down at her.

"I'll bake her cookies and right her a huge apology letter and leave it on her locker for tomorrow!" She smiled

"Ooh I have to go tell Diana!" She exclaimed. Kissing Gilbert on the cheek she turn to leave... but he grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him.

"Don't I get a little hit more than that?" He asked. His eyebrows raised and his mouth in a cheeky grin.

"Fine" she said pretending to be annoyed.
Then she kissed him on the lips. It was so comforting. She didn't want to stop but knew she had too.

Luckily there were only a few people in that hallway and luckily they were not paying attention.

"Got to go now" she said smiling before giving him one last peck on the lips and waltzing off.
He grinned to himself.

Anne Shirley Cuthbert you are one spontaneous girl he thought to himself before touching his lips and walking back towards the cafeteria.
