Anne lay down in the reclined chair as the doctor rubbed the monitor over her fairly large baby bump.
4 months in. It had been a long four months indeed.
Gilbert tightened his grip on Anne's hand as they the baby appeared on the screen next to them.
Smiling at each other in happiness, the baby was much bigger than the last scan and they could see it so much clearer.
"So..." Anna smiled in excitement at the doctor, as Gilbert's face lightened.
"I'm happy to inform you.." the doctor began as she spun away from the computer she was looking at.
"You are having a girl."
