Anne decided that today would be her lazy day where she just relaxes in preparation for school tomorrow. Marilla and Matthew have gone to Spain with Rachel and her husband for a week so they will miss Anne's first week of school. Great. Anne decided to wear a big grey hoodie with black booty shorts and a messy bun. She head downstairs and got her cereal prepared before plopping herself in-front of the tv and putting on her favourite film called To all the boys I've loved before. She was half way through the film and had left her empty cereal bowl on the side ,as she couldn't be bother to pause the movie, when she heard a loud knock on the door. She groaned and pushed herself up. She waddled towards the door. When she opened it her face lit up and her mouth let out a huge smile. "Gilbert!" She screamed grabbing him and embracing him in a warm hug. "Hey carrots" He said whilst planting a kiss on her forehead. "What are you doing here?" She questioned pulling away from him and looking him in the eye. "I wanted to see my best girl!" He exclaimed before picking her up by the waist and spinning her around the room. She giggled and screamed. He chuckled and placed a kiss on her lips. "Wanna watch a movie?" She asked him quickly flicking To all the boys I've loved before off the screen. "Sure" He said grinning. After a while of fussing they finally got comfortable Anne was snuggled into Gilbert's armpit with her head resting on his torso. She felt so safe with him by her side. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
