*A week has gone by and Marilla and Matthew have returned from their trips* Anne awoke to the loud screams from downstairs. She rushed out of bed throwing on her big grey hoodie and scrambling downstairs. When she neared the bottom of the stairs all she saw was a pool of blood. Her eyes widened in shock. (Everyone being Ruby, Cole, Diana,Gilbert,Jane,Tilly,Prissy,Billy,Charlie,Moody and Josie) There sat on the steps of green gables was Anne. She had dark eyes and tear stained cheeks. She had finger nail marks all up her arms and she had a lifeless look in her eyes. She was curled up in a ball wearing blood stained clothes. She was rocking back and forth and she was looking at the fields. They watched silently for a minute before Anne finally spoke. "I..I..Couldn't..Save.....them" she murmured her eyes switching to look at the crowd. They all looked so sympathetic even Billy and Josie which surprised Anne. Gilbert started to approach Anne "Help me.." she said He sat next to her rubbing her shoulders. "Tell is what happened..." he said softly Anne looked at all the faces expectantly waiting for an answer from her. Thoughts started buzzing through her head as she stood up. "Murder..." she said faintly Before realising something. Her eyes turned to pure rage. She stuck her chin up, wiped her eyes, and flung off her bloody jumper leaving her in a clean baggy 1975 top and leggings. "And I'm going to find out who killed them."
