'It's always darkest just before the dawn'

Youngjae stared at the words written in black, but they started looking blurry as tears filled his eyes again. He felt that the person who kept answering him was trying to help. He wanted to believe these words, he wanted to believe, that everything would turn good, but after today, it felt like all his hope was erased completely.

He had wanted to try to change, to feel better, to get better at school, so he even had arrived on time today. But the moment he entered the classroom had ruined everything...

"Hey faggot. Didn't you have your ass fucked last night or why are you on time?" His classmate Jumin grinned, followed by his friends laughing. Youngjae was confused but kept walking to his seat, he didn't want to show any reaction, but then...
"...'Oh Seohon, I love you so much!' he said and kissed his boyfriend..."  Jumin said as if reading it off of somewhere and Youngjae froze. This was the worst thing that could happen to him.
How did that idiot get his lost chapter? Well, it didn't matter how. Now he had it and he knew it was Youngjae who had written these things.
The boy felt like he was dying right there and then.
"Won't you say something, huh?" the other student laughed, coming closer to him.
"W-What do you mean?" he asked, voice shaking. Why couldn't this just be a bad dream? What did he do to deserve going through this hell?
"Oh, don't act like that. You know exactly what I'm talking about. We got this from your bag after all..."  He crumpled up the paper in his hand and threw it at the boy. "Here you have your shit back. I don't want to keep stuff from disgusting people like you."

Youngjae looked at his hands on the barrier. Then, he made a decision.

He would not suffer any longer. It had gotten too much, way too much. Writing had been his last possibility to escape the pain and fear and now they had taken even this from him. He could not handle it anymore. He would end this today. He would end everything.

Breath shaking, he pulled out the red marker from his pocket. He didn't have to think much about what to write as a last message.

"Come on, we both know you need it, Dae. You haven't been at the gym in ages."

"Shut up, Junnie. I work out at home and that's enough, and you know that. Don't try to hide that you're just scared of going alone."

The younger mumbled something he couldn't hear, then sighed. "Maybe you're right."

"See. So why don't you want to go without me? Is it because the trainer is too hot for you to handle?" Daehyun smirked and immediately received a slap against the back of his head.

"Fuck you. This has nothing to do with the trainer. It's just... There are always people trying to flirt with me and that makes me so uncomfortable because I never know what to say..."

"Awww is our Junnie shy? You just have to put in earphones and nobody will try to talk to you, that's the whole trick. Don't worry, you'll survive. I have to go now, see you tomorrow and have fun at the gym~"

"Funny. Bye, I'll call you later because of homework."

"Try to do it by yourself first." Daehyun laughed, then turned around and walked away.

As he reached the bridge, he was just thinking about if he would find an answer already, since he had only written yesterday and this morning there hadn't been anything new, when he saw it. The same person as that night after Junhong's birthday, writing onto the barrier. He recognised the black-white jacket. Slowly, careful not to be seen, he walked closer. Then he saw the writer's face.

"Oh my god..." he whispered to himself as he saw who the boy was.

As the writer had walked off, Daehyun hurried to the spot and looked at the new words.

A weightless step'
