An hour later, Youngjae was home. He felt tired, even though he had slept longer than usual, but he had no time to sleep, he had to take shower and then go grocery shopping. His fridge was almost empty, except for a pack of cheese and ketchup.
When he was on his way, he felt a bit nervous, wondering if the other writer had answered him after what had been meant to be his last message. As he reached the spot, he was relieved seeing the new words.
'To much blood has flown from the wrist of the children shamed for those they chose to kiss'
Youngjae's eyes widened. Yes, this was just a line from a song, but still... it felt like the writer was talking about him. Talking to him. Was it possible that the other knew his identity? No, that was impossible. He had always been careful not to be seen, nobody could know it was him writing the words in red. He sighed and tried to calm down. It was just another line from the same song, nothing else.
...
"Dae, look!" Junhong suddenly stood in front of the older, two girls next to him. One of the girls was Mia, their new classmate, the other seemed to be a friend of her. She had long, black hair and introduced herself as Minsung. "I met them and they wanna to somewhere with us!"
Daehyun smiled at the girls and looked at his obviously drunk friend. "Junnie, where's your brother?"
"That idiot went home a few minutes ago with some girl" he grumbled.
"Great... Good that I didn't drink too much..." The older sighed. "Okay then let's go to my place I guess?"
Junhong nodded and a but later, they left the club.
As they walked over the bridge, Mia's friend stopped. "Oh my god, look... Some idiot write onto the barrier... Hope he gets caught soon..." she said.
Daehyun bit his lip, not saying anything. How did she dare saying this... Couldn't she read what the words said? Couldn't she feel the pain, the fear within the words? She must be blind....
"Let's go. It's cold." he then mumbled, turning around.
As they kept walking, after a few minutes he noticed the girl coming unusually close to him.
"When will we reach your house? I'm cold...""It's not long anymore. Maybe ten minutes."
"Ow... For me that's pretty long. I should have taken another jacket..." Saying this, she came even closer, giving him a hopeful look.
He knew what she wanted, but no, he would not give her his jacket. If he did, he would freeze his ass off, since he only wore a shirt underneath while she already had a very warm, cuddly sweater. She would be fine.
What followed was a long night of playing video games and talking about random topics, mostly school though, but Daehyun couldn't help but feel a bit uncomfortable. Minsung kept trying to get close to him, she would always sit right next to him, follow him when he went to the kitchen, constantly looking at him.
He thought maybe she just was like that when she was drunk and tried not to get too affected by that behaviour, but then something happened which he could not just ignore.
He had just been at the bathroom, now opening the door, finding her in the hallway.
"Oh, sorry I took so long. You can go in now." he said, assuming she had been waiting for him to come out to go in herself, but she shook her head.
"Daehyun... You know Mia has told me a lot about you... and I see she was right, you're really fucking handsome... you look so good... You're totally my type, Daehyun."
She came closer, now standing directly in front of him.
"Um... Thank you... I guess...?" The boy stuttered in confusion. He really didn't like this situation.
She giggled. "Come on... The others won't notice if we disappear for a while... let's go to your room and have some fun!" She took his hand and pushed him against the wall, when he shook his head.
"No- Minsung, please stop. You're drunk, you should go home."
His words didn't help and soon, he found himself cornered by the girl, who pushed her body against his like they didn't have any more space.
"Please, Daehyun... Just kiss me... Or are you gay?" She licked her lips, coming closer and closer.
Daehyun tried his best to turn away. He really didn't want to kiss her, not even for fun or anything like that. He just felt uncomfortable and wanted to get away from her, but pushing her away was no option since she was so drunk she would probably fall and he didn't want her to get hurt.
Their lips were almost touching, when suddenly, Mia's voice could be heard. "Minsung, get away from him! What the hell are you doing? You know he's my crush, what kind of friend are you trying to kiss him? And can't you see he doesn't want that?" She pulled her friend away from the boy, who sighed in relief.
"Sorry Daehyun... I had no idea she would get like that, I think it's time for us to leave now." she smiled in apology before dragging her friend along to the front door.
