School had just started again and Youngjae came back from the bathroom during the break, when he saw Jumin in the classroom. The boy from his old class was sitting on a desk with a few of his friends from both classes, the room was empty apart from them, so Youngjae was about to turn around and wait somewhere else for Daehyun and Junhong to come back from lunch, but the others had already seen him.

"Hey fag" Jumin shouted, "Scared of coming here, huh? Pussy." His friends laughed, then the group approached him. "Did you think I had forgotten about you just because you changed class? Well, sorry to tell you that but..." he pushed the boy against the wall, "I'll never forget about you. And this is worse for me than for you, I don't wanna have some disgusting person like you in my mind after all." he pushed him again as the boy tried to get away. "Hey, i'm not done with you yet. You think you're safe because you're with Daehyun now, huh? Well surprise, he hates you just as much as everyone else does. He told me that himself, he's just too nice to say it to you in person so he asked me to do it for him. Do you really think he likes you? You're even more stupid than I expected if you think that anyone could ever like you. You're disgusting and you know that just as well as I do. Just go kill yourself, you'd do us all a favor."

He laughed and left the room, followed by his friends, just before Daehyun came back.

"What did he want?" he asked when he saw Youngjae standing at the wall, trying to hold back the tears.

"Nothing." Youngjae mumbled and went to his seat as the rest of their class came back.

"Just the usual?" Daehyun sat next to him and searched through his folder for the homework Junhong wanted to copy.

"Yeah."

"I wonder when he will finally understand how stupid he's being."

...

That afternoon, Youngjae was sitting in his room playing a video game, when a message from his cousin Mina popped up on his phone. He paused the game and opened the chat, a little confused of why she was texting him, when he saw the message.

'Hey Youngjae. My boyfriend told me you're friends with Daehyun so I thought I should remind you of what he did to me. You should stay away from this guy, he's just playing games with everyone around him. He's not really your friend. He's just using you, like he used me back then. Please be careful.

Youngjae felt how a weird feeling spread in his chest. It was a little bit like fear, but there was something else he could not quite put his finger on. Two people had told him in one day that he could not trust Daehyun, and he knew that he could surely not trust Jumin about this, but Mina on the other hand had never seemed like the person to tell lies. He had spent a lot of time with Daehyun by now and the older had never seemed like someone who would play with other people, but what if she was right?

Youngjae quickly tried to shake off this thought. No, it could not be. Daehyun was such a sweet guy, he could not be an asshole. They had to be wrong.
