It took them quite a while to get back to the hotel. Yongguk carried Junhong on his back while Daehyun held Youngjae closely to himself, one arm around the boy's waist, one of the latter's arms around Daehyun's shoulders.
"I'm tired" Youngjae mumbled when the doors of the elevator opened.
"We're almost there." Daehyun looked at the boy's face. Youngjae looked really tired, his eyes were half closed, his head leaning on Daehyun's shoulder. The older could not help but think how adorable the boy looked.
When they reached the room, Junhong's eyes suddenly widened and he stumbled into the bathroom, slamming the door.
"Oh no" Daehyun sighed and made Youngjae sit on the big bed. "He really doesn't know his limits... I'll go check on him." He wanted to go to the bathroom, but Yongguk held him back.
"I can do that. I feel like your friend here also needs some help and since I don't know him..."
Daehyun nodded. "Right. Thank you for all your help."
"No problem, he's my boyfriend after all."
After the older had disappeared to the bathroom where they heard him talk to Junhong quietly, Daehyun sat on the bed, next to Youngjae who looked a bit spaced-out.
"How do you feel, Jae?" Daehyun softly caressed the boy's hair. "If you feel sick please say it."
The younger shook his head. "I've never been sick from drinking. I'm just tired..."
"Would you be okay with sharing the bed with me tonight? I dojt want to risk Junnie throwing up at me."
"Yes, that's okay."
"Great. By the way, you still haven't shown me your drawings. Can I see then now?"
"Um, sure. Wait." he got up from the bed and made his way to the closet where he searched his bag for his sketch book.
"Here. They're not that great but... I still like doing it." he said, sitting back next to the blonde, handing him the book.
They both lied down next to each other, then Daehyun looked through it, being impressed by the aesthetic of Youngjae's drawings. Most of it were landscapes or people, he also found one picture which showed the view from the bridge.
"I really like them. They have so much emotion."
"Thank you... I don't consider them that good but it's nice you like them." he smiled, then closing his eyes for a moment.
Daehyun couldn't help but put the book aside and scoot over, hugging the boy, who now opened his eyes. "Huh?"
"Don't mind me" Daehyun mumbled, "Your smile is beautiful, Youngjae... I'd like to see you smile more often..."
Youngjae didn't know what to say. He was too tired and too drunk to think of an answer, so he just smiled again.
He heard Daehyun chuckle, then felt how the older pulled him even closer." I'll just keep hugging you. Tell me if it gets too much."
"Don't worry, it's fine..." The boy could not even explain what was happening, all he knew was that he liked this. He felt safe, he enjoyed the closeness to Daehyun - he did not know whether it was just the alcohol and the weed or if he had really managed to overcome a bit of his fear, but there was no denying that he had no problem with being that close to Daehyun.
Before he fell asleep, he felt how the older's fingertips caressed his hair and back in a very soft, calming way and suddenly the thought came to his mind, that he wanted this kind of affection more often.
