Monday morning. Youngjae groaned when he reached to turn off his alarm. He did not want to get up... Eventually he forced himself out of bed since he was not in the mood to have Mr Kim again.

At school, Jumin seemed suspiciously peaceful. He did not do much during the first few lessons despite snickering with his friends and sometimes glancing over to Youngjae, who was relieved they were leaving him alone, but he could not trust the peace. Last time they had been like that, he had ended up being held against the wall with his pants down in front of the whole class.

He admittedly felt a bit disappointed that he had not seen Daehyun or even Junhong anywhere, although their two classes were having sports together, but he quickly shook off the thought.

After the last lesson he left the schoolyard, about to plug in his headphones, when he heard voices behind him. He looked back over his shoulder and saw Jumin, Sangjun and a guy from the year above them whose name he didn't know, but he had seen him hang out with Jumin multiple times. Seeing them go this way was strange, since they usually went the other way after school, but he didn't mind them.

After two more corners, he suddenly heard them start running. Immediately, he knew why they had been following him. He started running as well, the adrenaline shooting through his veins as he tried to escape, but they came closer and closer.

Youngjae felt how his body lost energy quickly and chose to run across a big place full of people, kind of hoping someone would see and help him. His legs were giving up shortly after and soon, he collapsed. He went around one more corner, sinking down with his back against the wall of the shop behind him.

He closed his eyes, heavily breathing, hoping they would not find him, but all hope disappeared when he heard their steps stop right in front of him. Then, Jumin laughed.

"You're really such a pussy, you can't even run a few meters." He nodded at his friends and they pulled the boy up onto his feet.

Ten minutes later, he was left alone.

The boy lied on the ground, hands covering his face. His breath was heavy, but shaking. He felt like he was dying and he wished it were true, because he could not take this anymore. He wanted to keep lying there, he felt like he couldn't get up, not even move. He just had no energy. He wanted to wake up from this nightmare, he wanted all this to just stop.

Minutes later, Youngjae was finally able to get up. He noticed the people passing by, looking at him, then bringing their attention back to their phones. It was no surprise to him that nobody helped him earlier. Instead, he had seen some who even took photos of the scene before walking away.

Youngjae took his bag from the ground and went home, where he collapsed on the floor of his room and his mind went blank.
