I just want to scream in joy. I just kissed Angelo! Once our lips met, I felt like I was in heaven. I never thought my first kiss would be like this.

Uncomfortable, is what I thought it would be like.

I miss having his lips on mine if I'm honest. Our date went really well and I found interesting things about him. I found out he wants to travel the world and explore different cultures.

And that his name is really,

Angelo Lorenzo De Lombardo.

It's only been a day since the date and it feels like an eternity since I last saw him. We have been texting non-stop and we haven't even stopped. He's like a drug that I can't get enough of.

"Aunty, I don't feel good."

I turn towards Danny and touch his forehead.

"You are burning up, baby boy," I tell him and stand up from the couch.

"I'll be back. I'm going to get the thermometer and some panadol for you." I tell him and walk towards the kitchen.

I grab the thermometer and medicine from the medicine cabinet and walk back to the lounge room.

I take his temperature and panic when his temperature is very high. I begin to take his clothing and leaving him in his underwear.

"I'm cold." He says, shivering.

"I know honey, but I need to take your clothes because your temperature is very high," I tell him and stroke his hair after giving him the medicine.

I look at the time.

5:30 pm

"If your temperature doesn't go down, I need to take you to the doctors, okay," I explain to him and he nods his head.

I take a seat on the couch and he wraps his hands around me.

"You were right not to go in the pool." He says.

"Are you regretting it now?" I question him, stroking his cheek.

"Yesss..." He sighs.

A few minutes later, my phone vibrates and I look down to see a message from Angelo.

Angelo: Finally finished work. 😄😄

Me: How was it?

Angelo: Like always. 😕

Angelo: Is it okay if I come over?

I smile at his message. Danny would love to see him as he missed him yesterday.

Me: Yes!! But I will warn you that Danny is getting sick. So, you may get sick. I'm warning you! 😊

Angelo: I don't care if I get sick 😂 I'm still coming to see you guys.

Me: See you soon ❤️

I look at what I sent and start panicking. I just sent him the love heart emoji. Now I may look desperate. Way to go, Miracle.

"Angelo is coming," I tell Danny and he looks at me.

"Yes! I missed him."

"Me too," I tell him.

"You saw him yesterday." He questions.

"I know. Still..." I laugh, touching his forehead and take his temperature.
