Chapter 12

Harry

We weren't talking much but once Samantha came in crying we were all silent. Samantha walked past us and into the bathroom. She turned the light on and closed the door behind her silently. I looked over at the boys and they looked at me. "I'll be back," I said getting up. I knocked on the bathroom door and said, "Samantha? Can I come in?" I heard her sob a little and she didn't answer. I opened the door and closed it behind myself. 

"What's the matter?" I asked as I knelt down to her. She sat her back against the wall and was crying. I rubbed her back and said, "It's alright Samantha. Are you alright?" She stopped crying a little and wiped her face off. She looked up at me and said, "Yeah I'm fine. Louis just shook me up a little." I nodded and asked, "Are you better now?" She nodded and said, "I should probably leave." Samantha got up and I did too. "No, no, no," I said touching her soft skin. "You should stay." Samantha wiped face and said, "No I should really leave." I stopped her and said, "No Samantha. Stay." She sighed a little then agreed she would stay. 

I gave her one of my shirts to wear for pajamas and she laid next to my side of the bed. I knew all the boys headed to bed themselves, except Louis. I really wanted to talk to him and have him explain what really happened because I knew Sam wouldn't tell me. Samantha saw me as I was leaving and closed the door. "No Harry. Stay," Samantha said quietly. I opened the door and peeked at her. "Listen I'm just going to talk to Louis for a second. I'll be back. I promise." She looked sad and I closed the door. I went into the living room and cleaned up the beer cans that were laying around. I threw them away cleaned up more.

Once I finished cleaning the house I went outside on the balcony. Louis was sitting there all by himself drinking a beer. "What did you say to her?" I asked as I sat right next down to him. He looked at the view and shook his head. "What?" I asked. He put his beer down and said, "I was just protecting her Harry." I shook my head in disgust and said,"By making her cry? Louis all your doing is just hurting yourself. Why do you think that she's going to mess up my career for god's sake?" Louis looked at me and said, "I am goddamn right Harry. She is bullshit. She is just playing with your stupid selfish heart. Some people are just down right stupid." Louis shook his head and grabbed his beer. 

Louis finished drinking his beer and set it down. "Why? Just tell me why?" I asked confused. Louis looked at me and said, "Do you know what she did at the bar? She interrupted our meeting and just took you way Harry. Do you realize Samantha is taking away your dreams? She's trying to control you." I laughed at Louis and said, "You're a bunch of bullshit." Louis looked at me sternly. "Either it's me or it's you that's leaving soon." He stood up quickly and started leaving. "Wait. What do you mean by that?" I asked. Louis looked back at me and said, "I am moving out or you are because I am not going to be sucked in that bullshit." He pointed towards the apartment and was aiming at Samantha saying she was the bullshit. He slid open the door and went inside slamming it. 

I collected my thoughts then went inside. I went in my room finding Samantha snoozing away. I changed my clothes into my pajamas and turned off my lamp. I went in bed and covered my body up. I sighed thinking about what Louis said then I closed my eyes trying to forget about it.
