Only For You

Chapter 5

Samantha

As soon as the school bell rang I left the classroom and headed towards my locker. I opened it and grabbed the books that I needed tonight. Just as I got the books, I closed my locker and jumped. Willow stood there, waiting for me. "What's up?" Willow asked as she was looking at the ends of her blonde hair. "Nothing. I'm just going home right now." She smacked her gum loudly and said, "Great. So that means you can hang out with us?" I looked at her. "Who's us?" Just as I asked, Willow's boyfriend, Ryan, showed up behind her. She looked up at him smiling. As they leaned in closer and started kissing, I looked around, not wanting to awkwardly watch them.

"I can't Willow. I have so much homework," I said walking to my car. "But it'll be fun and there will be boys there you can meet," Willow said. I rolled my eyes, still annoyed. "I can't hang out. I have a lot of homework and plus I'm still pissed at you." Once I was at my car I unlocked the door. "Wait, what?" Willow asked. "Look, Ryan and you can hang out or something. I don't want to be the third wheel." Willow laughed and said, "Yeah Sam and they are called dates. We had like over 50 dates and I wanted you to come." I shook my head and said, "I would but I can't tonight. I'm sorry." Willow slightly rolled her eyes and asked, "So why are you mad." I threw my stuff in the car and looked at Willow. "Well when we went to the music festival you ditched me and I was all by myself." Willow laughed. "So you won't come with us tonight because of that?" I shook my head. "No, it's just I have a ton of homework and I can't." 

Soon enough Ryan came over, in his car. "Hey babe, jump in," he said to Willow. She looked at Ryan then at me. "Listen I'm leaving. I'll talk to you later." She jumped into Ryan's car and they drove off. I jumped into my car and drove home. 

"Mom?" I yelled as I got into the house. I looked around the house and noticed it was empty and quiet. I headed upstairs and went into my bedroom. I was ready to do my homework and study. 

A couple hours past, as I stayed in my bedroom doing my homework and studying. "Dinner is ready Samantha!" Somebody yelled downstairs. I got up from my bed and walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I sat on the bar stool as my mom started washing the dishes and cleaned up. "So how was school today?" I shrugged and said, "Normal." My mom looked at me and said, "Normal? Listen, I looked at your grades online and you need to get them higher." I looked up at my mom and said, "What? They are like all B's. What's wrong with that?" My mom rubbed her forehead, in frustration. "Sam you don't get it. I don't want you to go out and party and get hurt. You need to focus on your career and you just don't get it." My mom started raising her voice. I looked at her and said, "You don't even care about me." I finished my meal then headed back in my room. 

I was tired of her and of school. I was losing interest in school and also in my career. I just didn't care anymore. There, I sat in my bedroom and I continued to study more for my sake and my mother's. I cleaned up my room and got ready for bed. The rest of the night my mom didn't bother coming in and I didn't care because sooner or later I knew I would be gone. I would be on my way to living my life just the way I wanted to. I couldn't wait to leave my mom and my sister, because they were getting on my nerves and they were annoying as hell. I smiled, thinking about my future and the adventures I would take. I closed my eyes, thinking about the happy times I would have and not caring anymore.

hiiii guys! here is chapter 5 and i hope you guys like it and enjoy reading it! i will probably post another chapter after this and maybe another one. and i hope you guys will read them :-)

so usually i post them when my sister is gone because we share the computer and she's been constantly on it taking prep tests so she's at work while i am typing this :-)
