Chapter 35

Samantha

"So do you have any good ideas on where we should go to get Christmas decorations at?" Harry asked as we got into the car and drove away from the apartments. I shrugged and said, "My best guess would be Target or Walmart, but I would go to Target first." Harry nodded and said, "Good idea." He picked up the speed in the car and drove to Target.

Once we arrived we found a parking spot and parked the car. We got out and headed inside Target. Harry grabbed a cart, just in case he needed it and walked over to the music area. "What are you doing?" I asked confused. "Well I wanted to get gifts for the boys today too, but I guess we can do it some other time." Harry began leaving the aisle. "No Harry. You can look, but we should get Christmas decorations first." Harry nodded and we began looking. 

We found a couple aisles that were full of Christmas decorations. They had wrapping paper, ornaments, wreaths, Christmas themed rugs, cookie cutters, trees skirts, tinsel, and little boxes of lights. Harry stopped the cart and looked at the wrapping paper. He picked a couple out and set them in his cart and started looking for ornaments. "Do you like these ornaments?" I asked holding out a box full of light blue ornaments. Harry shook his head no and said, "I want to have like red and silver ornaments." I found a couple and showed them to Harry. "Yeah I like them. You can put them in the cart." I set them in then asked, "Now what are you looking for?" Harry looked up and down at the aisle and shrugged. "Do you have a tree picked out?" I asked. Harry shook his head and said, "Liam has one for me that he's going to bring up soon." He paused then said, "Let's look for bows and name tags for the presents." We moved down to the next aisle and I found a couple and showed them to Harry. "Yeah you can put them in the cart." We looked around then I asked, "Anything else?" Harry thought then said, "Yeah we need garland, lights, a star for the tree, and a tree skirt." We looked around then moved into a different aisle. I picked up some white lights and showed Harry. He nodded his head and I threw them in the cart. "What kind of garland do you want?" I asked looking at all the different colors. "Get the silver." He said. I picked up a couple and set them in the cart as well. 

We continued looking for a star and a tree skirt but we couldn't find one. "Maybe Walmart has one that we can buy." I said. Harry nodded and said, "Yeah that'll be fine. We got to buy some presents now." We left the Christmas aisle and headed up to the music area. "You might have to help me." Harry said looking at the artist. He picked up a Coldplay CD and threw it in the cart. "Who was that for?" I asked. Harry continued looking around and said, "That's for Niall." He stopped looking and stared at me. "What else should I get him?" Harry asked. I shrugged and said, "What does he like?" Harry thought then said, "Well he's really into music and likes Coldplay." "Does he have iTunes?" I asked. Harry nodded and I said, "Well you could get him an iTunes card." Harry smiled and picked up a $25 iTunes card and set it in the cart. "What else?" I asked. Harry thought and said, "He's into soccer." I shrugged and said, "You could get him a soccer ball, but I don't know if he has one already." Harry thought and said, "I don't think he does. Let's go buy him one." 

We walked down to the sports section and looked around for a soccer ball. "Harry! I found one." I yelled. He wheeled the loaded cart over by me and stopped. "I think he'll like that one. You can put it in." I set it in and we left the aisle. "What else?" Harry shrugged and said, "Maybe some chocolate bars or something." I nodded and we headed down to the candy aisle, where there were a box of chocolates. Harry threw it in the cart and said, "Now let's pick Zayn's gifts now." We began walking when I asked, "Harry are you going to be able to pay for all of this? If you need help I can chip in." Harry shook his head and said, "Nonsense. You don't need to Sam." 

"So do you have any ideas for Zayn?" I asked Harry. He continued walking and said, "Well getting him a sketchbook since he likes to draw a lot." He turned down the aisle where the sketchbooks were and picked one up. He threw it in the cart then said, "We could get him a razor." I looked at Harry and he laughed. "Well not like those cheap ones, we could buy him a decent one." I shrugged and said, "Whatever you say." We headed over to the razors. Harry looked at a couple. "Which one do you think I should get?" Harry asked me. I shrugged and said, "Get the one in the middle." Harry picked it put and read on the back. Once he was done reading he set it in the cart. "Is that it for Zayn?" I asked. Harry nodded and said, "Yeah. I think once we get home I'll order a couple things online for him and give him some money as well. Does that sound good?" I nodded and said, "Yeah. Now who else is left?" "Well we have Louis and Liam left and let's do Louis next." Harry said. "Do you have any gift ideas for him?" I asked. Harry shrugged and said, "I think I might buy some clothes for Louis too." "What else would you want to give him?" I asked. "Well we could buy him The Fray's CD because I know he likes that band." I nodded and we walked over to the CD area. Harry looked around and found their newest CD and threw it in the cart. "Is that it for Louis?" I asked. Harry nodded and said, "Yeah. I think I'll buy him some cake too since his birthday is on Christmas Eve." Harry paused then said, "I think I'll buy Liam some clothes, a watch, and give him some money." "Would you want to buy Liam anything from here?" I asked. Harry shook his head and said, "I think he'll be good. Let's check out right now." 

We walked to the cashier and she checked out everything. "That will be $239.87," She said. Harry swiped his card, pushed a couple buttons, and signed his name. The cashier grabbed the receipt and handed it to Harry. "Thank you." Harry said and he walked over and pulled the cart out of the store and towards the car.
