Only For You

Chapter 31

Samantha

 (Couple months pass)

        Today was a Friday and I was in a happy mood, not only because it was Friday but Harry and his band members finally made a decision and that decision was to live in New York City. I was nervous, but I was excited at the same time. Today was the day they were all going to come here and start their music careers. 

I got off my bed and noticed my roommate, Avery, was up and on her laptop. "Good morning." I said stretching. "Good morning to you too." Avery said looking up at her computer screen then back down. "I'm going to take a quick shower and get ready." I said grabbing my towel. Avery was quiet for a moment then said, "Well aren't you excited for your classes today or what?" I turned to looked at her and felt my cheeks blush. "Well today is a big day for me." Avery looked at me and gave me a suspicious look. "Do I wanna know?" She asked. I smiled and said, "Well Harry and his band mates are coming to New York today!" "Oh." Avery said shaking her head. "What time are they coming?" I shrugged and said, "Around dinner time that's all I know." Avery smiled and said, "Well you have fun and don't party too hard without me." I looked at Avery then said, "Well you can come if you want to!" Avery shrugged and said, "Well I have this test on Monday and everything and I really wanna study it. Plus Vince and I are going to meet up some place and do something." I smiled and said, "Aw well that's good. Maybe one day we can have a double date!" Avery laughed then said, "Yeah maybe one day." I smiled and headed into the bathroom.

After I washed up my hair and body, I jumped out of the shower and changed into some decent clothes. I put on some skinny jeans and a sweater. I straighten my hair and put on my boots. I applied little makeup and I added some jewelry on myself. Once I was all done I packed up my school stuff. I grabbed a granola bar and headed out to my classes. 

I ate the granola bar while I walked to my first class. Once I was done I washed it down with some water and started the class. 

After all my classes, I quickly did my homework until I realized that I was almost going to be late to meet Harry and his band at Chili's. I quickly changed into some decent clothes and headed out the door.

I silently walked to the the restaurant, since it wasn't that far away from the college. I walked into Chili's and looked around for Harry. I spotted him and walked over there. Harry stood up and grabbed my arm to pull me closer. He gave me a peck on the cheek and we sat down. "How are you?" He asked as he casually wrapped his arm around my body. I smiled up at him and said, "I'm doing good. What about you?" Harry made a big smile and said, "I'm doing great myself." He winked then kissed me on the cheek again. 

Our waiter came and we ordered food. Once we got our food and started talking about college and about their music careers. 

Once everyone was done eating, Harry paid and we left. We walked as a group, but then Harry walked away from them and pulled me along. "I'll talk to you guys later," Harry said smiling. They all nodded and continued walking to their apartments. 

Harry and I continued walking until we got to the park, that was close by the college. We walked slowly through the park while holding hands. Harry stopped and I stopped along him. He looked up to the sky, as he was looking for answers. He sighed and looked back down at me. I smiled at him then he smiled back. "What's on your mind?" Harry asked. I shrugged and said, "Nothing really, just that the holidays are coming and my family." He was quiet. "What about you?" I asked. Harry looked around then at me and answered, "Well that's what I wanted to talk to you about." I raised my eyebrow and said, "About the holidays?" Harry nodded and said, "Yeah, I was wondering what were you doing for your Christmas break?" I thought then said, "Well I wanted to see my family, but I'll probably just stay here. Maybe we could stay together since we're in New York and we could go see the ball drop. What did you have in mind?" Harry grinned and said, "Exactly that." We laughed and then Harry put his hand on my cheek and kissed it. He pulled away and said, "Well I decided to get you something since it's my first time back in New York with the boys." Harry began pulling something out of his pocket and handed me it. It was a little tiny box with something in it. I held it carefully in my hands. I looked up at him and started to say something, but Harry said, "Open it." My heart began pounding as I started opening the little box. I realized that it was a ring. My eyes began getting teary and I said, "Harry you didn't have to give me this." Harry grabbed the box and took out the ring and slid it on my finger and he said, "But I wanted too." After looking at the promise ring on my finger, I grabbed Harry's face and kissed him. 

We kissed and kissed for the longest time, until we noticed it started snowing. We both stopped kissing and looked up at the sky. We looked down at each other and laughed. Harry pulled away from me then said, "Come on let's go to my place." He held out his hand and I grabbed it and wrapped it around mine. We started walking to Harry's home.
