Chapter 32

Harry

We walked into the apartment building and headed to the elevators. "I just can't believe you bought me this Harry." Sam said. She was so shocked. I smiled then the doors opened and I pressed the number. "So what level are you on?" Sam asked. "Well I wanted to see the view and so they said the higher you go the more expensive since of the view so I got a place on level 16." Samantha nodded and said, "Yeah the view can be breath taking. So what about the boys? Are they on the same level?" I shook my head and said, "No they didn't want to be up so high so they are on level 9." Samantha nodded and replied, "How many levels are there?" "There are 24 levels." I answered then the doors opened and we walked out. 

We walked passed many doors until the door number said 8 and I pulled out my keys. I found the key and slid it in the lock. "Do you want to open it?" I asked Sam. She smiled and said, "How about we both." She put her hands on mine and we turned the doorknob. I opened the door and said, "You can go first." Samantha entered the place. I closed the door behind me and she turned to look at me. "Harry this is so beautiful." She looked around the living room. "Well when I bought it, this place was already remodeled and everything." Sam continued looking around. "This is the kitchen and eating area." I said I as walked around there. "This is so pretty," Sam said touching the counter top. "And that's the living room area." I pointed in front of us. We walked that way. Samantha then walked to the ceiling to floor windows. "This view is amazing." I walked over by her and nodded. "Would you want to see upstairs?" Sam looked at me and said, "Yes." I smiled and we headed upstairs. "This is the first bathroom." I said to my right. Sam peeked in. "I love it." She said. We then went to the guest bedroom. "This is the guest bedroom." I said and she looked around. We walked out and into this open space. "This is just empty space." I explained. Samantha looked at me and said, "What are you going to do with it?" I shrugged and said, "I don't know I haven't really decided. Maybe have another living room area or something like that." Sam nodded in agreement. "And this is the master." I said walking to a door and opening it. Sam entered the master bedroom. "Oh my god. I love it." I smiled and said, "And we have our own master bathroom and closet." Sam smiled and said, "It's so beautiful." I smiled and said, "Oh I forgot I have a surprise for you, but I have to set it up. So could you just hide somewhere." Sam giggled then said, "Well I'll go to the bathroom, and you just knock whenever you're done." We left and Sam went into the bathroom and closed the door behind her.

I ran downstairs and into the kitchen. I grabbed a bottle of wine and 2 glasses for champagne. I also picked up the box of chocolates that I bought earlier. I went into the living room and grabbed a stack of movies that I bought earlier. I headed upstairs and into the master bedroom. I put the wine and glasses on the bedside table and spread out the movies on the bed. There was Dear John, A Walk to Remember, Love Actually, and Titanic. I pulled out a couple roses that I kept in my dresser and pulled the petals off and threw them on the bed and floor. I laid the box of chocolates right on the bed, next to the movies. I grabbed a couple candles and lit them up quickly. Once the scent was wavering, I went to the bathroom door and knocked on it. Samantha came out and I covered her eyes with my hands. "Keep walking," I said. 

Once we were in the doorway of the bedroom and pulled my hands away and said, "Open!" Samantha opened her eyes and gasped. "This is so adorable Harry." She said as she walked in the bedroom. She looked around then she turned around. She walked over to me, hugged me, and said, "Thank you so much Harry. I love you." I held her and said, "I love you too." We let go and Sam walked over to the bed. She looked at the movies and said, "We need to watch these tonight." I smiled and said, "That's what I was planning to do." She held the box of chocolates then set them down. "Should I open up the champagne?" I asked as I walked over to the bedside table. "Sure," Sam said. 

I popped open the wine and poured it to the glasses. I set it down and picked up the glasses and handed one to Sam. "Cheers," I said as I held up glass, Sam raising her's up. "To one hell of a date." She giggled and we cheered, then we took a sip of the wine. "Wow I really like that wine." Sam said as she handed her glass to me. I set them back down on the table. "Now it's the fun part." I smiled to Sam and she smiled back.
