Chapter 14

Harry

As I was driving to the music shop I was thinking about Samantha. I loved seeing her work and she looked so cute and I was so excited. I parked my car and hopped out. I walked to the shop and entered in quickly looking for Samantha. I scanned around and spotted her displaying new CD's. I smiled as I headed towards her. I put my hands around her eyes and whispered, "Guess who?" Samantha paused and let out a giggle. I let my hands go and she turned around smiling. "Hi Harry." I looked around noticing nobody was really here in the shop. It was almost bare. "What are you doing here?" Samantha asked looking up to me. I licked my lips and said, "Just here to visit you." Samantha giggled as she noticed a customer waiting to get checked out. 

She walked over to the cash register and checked the old man. He paid and looked over at me then left the shop. I walked over to Samantha and leaned over. "When do you get off?" I smiled at her. Samantha looked at me and giggled. "Why are you like this way?" She playful pushed my face away and we laughed. I looked back at her and stared at her beautiful eyes. She was so cute working and focusing on things. She looked very hard concentrating and I adored that about her because not too much girls look so cute like Samantha while they were working.

She looked up at me and noticed I was staring at her. She giggled at continued working. A man stepped out in the back and yelled, "Sam your shift is done. Sign out and you can leave." Samantha looked up and said, "Ok thank you." Once the man left and went in the back, Samantha looked at me. She lounged her body like I was and said, "You're so funny." I giggled then Sam left to sign out. 

Once she came back I grabbed her hand and asked, "So what are you doing today?" Samantha looked up at me and stopped. "Wait I forgot something." Samantha let go of my hand and went in the back to grab something. She came back holding something, but she was hiding it from me. "Guess what it is." Samantha said once she came closer. I laughed and said, "I don't know. What is it?" Samantha showed me a CD and gave it to me. I held the CD as I was smiling. "I can't believe it's here." I said looking at Samantha. She nodded and said, "There was a shipment that came in earlier than it was suppose to so I looked and found The Beatles in there." I smiled and said, "Well thank you Sam."

I held the door opened for Sam as we headed outside. "So do you want to grab a bite to eat or something?" I asked. We stood there together on the sidewalk. "Um I'm not really hungry," Samantha said looking at the sky that was getting darker. "But I could go for a milkshake at McDonald's." Samantha looked over and I smiled.

We both got in my car and I drove to McDonald's. We decided to eat inside. We ordered our milkshakes and I paid for them. Once we had them Samantha picked a booth and we sat there together. 

Once we were halfway through our milkshakes Samantha stopped. "So." Samantha said looking at me. I stopped and said, "Yes?" She looked away then at me and said, "My mom wants you to come over and meet you." "Like when?" Samantha shrugged and said, "Soon. That's all I know." We finished our milkshakes and hopped back in my car. 

"Where now?" Samantha asked. I looked at her and said, "We are going to the middle of nowhere." I drove out into the country and parked my car. We both jumped out in the car and sat on the hood of my car. I put my arm around Sam. She looked down at me and smiled. "What are you thinking?" Samantha looked up at the stars and sighed. She looked down and said, "The future and everything else." I sat up and looked at her. "Why the future? Are you worried about it?" Samantha sighed and said, "Yeah. I'm scared as hell Harry." She looked at me then looked away. "I'm afraid for college and then my first professional job. I'm scared about buying an apartment or a house. I'm scared of the money that I'm going to make and just about everything else." She paused and then continued. "I'm so fucking scared. I feel like I won't be ready for every-" I grabbed her and kissed her.

I kissed her over and over until she let go of me and smiled. I caught my breath and leaned over and kiss her cheek. She smiled and looked over at me. I kissed her one more time until she stopped. "I really need to go," Samantha said getting off my car. I hopped off and we jumped inside my car and I drove off.

"You can just drop me off at the music shop because that's where my car is." Samantha said. I drove to the shop and parked right next to her car. "Thank you so much for the ride Harry," Samantha said as she was unbuckling herself. I grabbed her and kissed one last time before she left me. Our lips crashed hard on each other and I savored her taste. She was so sweet and her lips were so soft it made me want to kiss her more. She pulled away and looked at me before she opened the car door. I grabbed her hand and said, "Please don't leave me." She made a sad face and said, "I'm sorry Harry. I'll talk to you later. Goodnight." She let go and closed the door before I could say goodnight to her.
