Gilbert's POV

"Lily... Why didn't you tell us?" I asked.

"I wanted it to be the right time." said Lily.

"I-I can't believe this." said Anne.

"Cole come here." said Lily.

He came and read the letter. He looked at Anne shocked. I decided to give them some space.

"I-I can't believe this." said Cole as he looked at Anne.

"I know I can't believe that-" Anne got interrupted.

"Hello my people." said someone. Is it reunion day? God...

"Lorcan?" asked Anne as she slowly approached him.

"Am I going to be waiting for my hug for a long time?" asked Lorcan. He was never my favourite. Other than me, Anne was really close with Lorcan and Cole. Cole wasn't an issue but Lorcan always flirted with her. It was annoying.

"No..."said Anne as she quickly hugged him.

"Cole my man." said Lorcan to Cole.

Cole looked at me with pity and quickly gave him a hug.

Cole didn't like him either.

He thought of him as the good version of Violet, yet he had one thing in common with Violet. They were in the way of me and Anne. He wasn't wrong...

"Gilbert?" said Lorcan.

I shook his hand and took a step back.

"Lorcan, do you want to walk me home?" asked Anne.

"I would be delighted my dear flower." said Lorcan.

That was my thing.

Lily must of noticed my discomfort because she went towards him.

"I thought you would be more excited to see me, Lorcan."

Lorcan turned and looked at her.

He tackled her in a hug.

"How are you, beautiful?" asked Lorcan.

"I'm great. How about you, chipmunk?"

"I'm doing great." He said as he kissed Lily on her forehead and took a step back, his eyes not once leaving Lily.

"I've got take Anne home..." said Lorcan.

"Can I join?" pouted Lily.

"Ummm... Sure." said Lorcan as he looked at Anne for confirmation.

"Gilbert come on. Let's go." said Lily as she dragged me and I dragged Cole who dragged Brian who dragged Diana who followed us while she was cuddling with Charlie.

"So... How do you know each other?" asked Diana.

"He visited at the asylum." said Anne with a smile.

"Yes, he came quite often." I said, bitterly.

As we reached Green Gables. My favourite French guy approached us.

"Brother." said Jerry as his eyes opened widely and he hugged Lorcan.

"Hey, the second best of the Baynards." laughed Lorcan.
