Gilbert's POV

Anne and Diana just looked at me.

Cole walked up to us, while he was reading a book whilst Brian basically guided him to us.

"Anne, did you tell Gilbert?" asked Cole and Brian coughed. Cole looked up and saw me and immediately froze.

"Is anybody going to tell me what is going on?" I asked, slowly losing my patience.

Everybody looked at each other and pushed Anne so she was standing in front of me. Trust Diana to make it awkward.

"I-I sort of... I am... Well..." as Anne was struggling to tell me. I saw everybody slowly walking away, leaving us alone.

Violet looked at us though and started to walk up to us, when Lily tackled her in a hug and started swinging her from left to right.

Anne turned and looked behind her in order to get some support from Diana and she realized she was alone.

Then, she started to freak out more...

"I won't make you say it." I said as I took a step away from her  and was about to turn when Cole basically pushed me back to where I was standing.

"Yes, you will."

As he casually stood there.

"We need some privacy, Cole." I said and Cole nodded in understanding and took a step back. I gave him a lock and he looked back at me shocked and said.

"More space than this?" I raised an eyebrow... "Fine."

He said and walked away.

I looked back at Anne and I said.

"For someone who knew me for most of her life. You sure are shy." I said, trying to get her mad.

"Hey. It wasn't my idea to end our friendship." said Anne as she pointed at us. "It was yours and your little insecurities."

"I am NOT insecure."

"Then, why did you act like a three year old?" asked Anne with a sarcastic smile.

"It must be the effects of spending way too much time with you." I fired back with a smirk.

"What are we doing?" asked Anne as she sighed.

"Fighting." said Charlie.

"Buddy, shush we are listening." said Billy.

I looked at him and he looked back at me and said.

"To the sound of my beautiful voice." said Billy, as he smirked at me.

Some things never change.

"This is not us." I said.

"I know..." agreed Anne.

"From now on. Let's promise to tell each other everything." I said as I let my pinky out and Anne linked hers with mine.
