09. Its All Platonic

-Camila-

"Everybody welcome Camila Gomez!!" Jimmy Fallon announced and the crowd cheered as I came out to the stage and went over to jimmy. I hugged him and sat down on the sofa next to his desk.

"All of you probably already know her" he said and the crowd cheered once again "but for those of you who live under a rock this is Camila and she is the biggest pop star right now. Camila you're killing the charts these days"

"Thank you jimmy" I say and smile "yeah it's really crazy every week there's a different song at the top of the charts and it's so surreal and so amazing, my fans are the best fans ever" I say and the crowd goes wild again.

"We had some people wait outside the studio all night waiting for you to get here did you know that?"

"Oh my gosh for real? They waited all night outside? It's freezing"

"Yeah they sat out with tents all that sort of stuff" he said and laughed lightly

"Do you know who they are I want to give them a hug" I say wanting to thank these people

"Yeah I believe they're in row three" he said looking out to the crowd "the people who waited outside could you stand up?" Jimmy asked and two girls and a guy stood up their face bright red from excitement. "Can I
Go up to them" I ask jimmy "Yeah for sure"

I got up and went Towards the fans, as I reached them I hugged each one of them making sure to thank them and ask for their names and after I thanked them I went back down to sit beside jimmy.

"That was really nice of you Camila I'm sure they appreciated that" he said smiling genuinely "I mean it's the least I could do after they spent the night out side waiting for me" I said and smiled.

"Okay so back to our business, you have a new single coming out soon right?"

"Yes, I'm super excited for this one it's really different from my last single and this one is called 'I almost do' and the music video for it will drop on the day of the vmas, so it would be shown for the first time at the vmas which I think is really cool"

"That is really cool. So I heard there's a little special guest in your music video" he said smirking

"Well there might be a little surprise, but I'm gonna keep it a surprise and not spoil it for you guys so you'll have to watch the music video to see my special guest" I said looking at jimmy and the crowd then back to jimmy.

"Well if we're talking about a special guest then I want to talk about a special someone that we've seen you two on social media together quite a lot as well as walking around together" and as he said that a picture of me and Tom leaving a restaurant appeared on the screen

"Well what about it jimmy?" I say suggestively and smiled at him while glaring at him

"Do you want to tell me anything? Announce something new in your life?"

"The only thing that's new in my life is my music video, so I don't know what you're talking about" I said pretending not to understand what he said

"You know what I mean" he said shaking his head "are you and spider man aka Tom Holland friends or are you a bit more then that?"

"Well jimmy if you're really interested," I said and paused for a second "me and Tom are just friends and nothing more, He a really great guy and he introduced me to some of his friends which are also great guys and yeah that's it. It's all platonic"

"For now" he said and smirking and I shook my head this time

"Okay that's all the time we have for today everyone don't forget to tune in to the vmas to watch Camila Gomez's new music video premiere and well see you in tomorrow's show" jimmy said as the camera crew yelled cut and we stopped the taping.

Jimmy and I both stood up and he came towards me and gave me a hug "thanks again for coming camila this was great your fans would love this"

"Well thanks for inviting me jimmy" I said as I smiled at him and he went to one of the producers to talk about lines for the show as I went back to my dressing room meeting with my manager and best friend who came with me today.

"Cami That was great" Liv said as she hugged me as I walked in. "Yeah you did good" Bella says and smiles softly. We packed our stuff and went out of the studio and made our way back to the hotel room we were staying at while In New York because the vmas are happening here.

When we got to the hotel room I got a text.

Harrison:
Hey Cami want to go out and explore a bit to day as we're both in New York?

Me:
Yes sure I just got to my hotel so we can leave
in 15?

Harrison:
Sure I'll meet you at your hotel room

Me:
Sounds good

Me and Harrison got really close the past few days because of the fact that I've been hanging out with him and Tom. And we're all going to the vmas so we're all in New York right now.

After 15 minuets I heard a knock on my door and when I opened it I saw Harrison standing there. "You ready to go?"

"Yeah I just need to grab my phone and bag and we can leave" I say taking my things and leaving the room with him.

"So we are going to meet up with zendaya as well for lunch in a couple hours because she's in a shoot right now so she'll meet us there" he informed me and I nodded

"What about tom? He's to important to spend time with his friends?" I ask jokingly

"He's with some girl right now I didn't really understand if it's a date or not"

"Oh" I said slightly disappointed, I don't know why I'm disappointed I guess I just wanted to see him today as well "who is the girl?" I say curious while we walk the streets of New York

"Some girl he met a few days ago in an interview I think her name is Vanessa" he said unsure

"So you met her as well?" I asked getting interested in this girl who's on a date with Tom

"I mean he introduced us but that's it I haven't really spoke to her but she seems nice" he said thinking back to their meeting

"That's cool I guess" I said nodding "I mean tom deserves a great girl" I said spacing out

"Woah earth to Cami" Harrison said while shaking me "you almost walked into a tree"

"Oh thanks for the save" I said and chuckled.

Me and Harrison walked around a bit more and then when it was time we started heading towards the restaurant that we told zendaya we'd meet her in and we all had lunch which was really nice. When we were done me and Harrison went back to the hotel seeing as we're staying in the same hotel.

One thing I couldn't get off my mind for the entire day is the fact that tom was out with a girl. Why do I care so much about it?
