- Third person's pov-

Early the next morning team, seven found themselves standing before the Hokage as he shuffled through various papers trying to find a mission for them. Before, when the Hokage had been in charge the first time, Genin would start off with D-ranked missions and work their way up. However, now that he was in charge for the second time things were run a bit differently.

D-ranked missions were given to academy students to improve their teamwork after so many had failed a certain Jounin's test. It made the transition into ninja life a bit easier sure, but it did nothing to the Hokage's nerves as he chose a Genin team's first official mission.

Finally, after what seemed to be forever for the Genin but only seconds for the Hokage, a mission was chosen. Though, it wasn't the best first mission they could receive since they were the last brand new Genin team to walk through to mission briefing doors that day. Giving a deep sigh and taking in the excited faces of the new ninja, the Hokage gave them the mission.

"Your mission is to kidnap this ninja-" the Hokage says as he holds up a picture of a low ranking rouge ninja, "-and bring him in for interrogation. He was last seen in Hidden Hot Water Village. Use any means necessary to bring them in but under no circumstances should he come back in a body bag."

The Genin of team seven's eyes widen in shock while their Sensei sighs at the mission choice. Sakura looks between the Hokage and her Sensei to make sure they were serious about this though, after seeing that they were, she felt silly for thinking otherwise.

"Team seven accepts this mission." Kakashi says before taking the mission scroll, he then turns towards his Genin, "Meet at the main gate in a half hour"

"Did you guys know our first mission would be a kidnapping?" Sakura asked as we waited for Sensei and Yuki to show up.

"Shut up Sakura." Sasuke said as he crossed his arms disapprovingly as she questioned the village.

It was an unspoken rule among ninja in the Leaf never to question our orders. It was even engrained into us during our days at the academy. Once we put on the leaf headband, we lost the little freedom we had to question any order given by the Hokage. The fact that even I remembered it made it an even bigger deal.

"Sakura-chan, we don't question our orders. We just see them through." I said while nervously looking around, scared for what would happen to her if a senior ninja heard her talking.

"But it's not right! Sending children to do something so, so cruel." Sakura said while shaking in outrage.

At this point, even Sasuke started to look worried about what would happen to her. Ever since Yuki had literally smacked some sense into him the day of team assignments, he had seemed to calm down more and open up slightly.

"Sakura, you really need to stop talking like that." Sasuke said, but it was to late.

Someone had heard her.

"They're correct, you should not speak that way. Questioning orders is the same as questioning the Hokage." A ninja in an ANBU mask said before they jumped down from a tree, landing behind Sakura.

Sakura's eyes widened in fear at the ANBU and tried to explain herself but... the damage had already been done.

"Since you don't seem to understand this, you will have to come with me." The ANBU said while grabbing onto her arm and vanishing in a swirl of leaves.

Sasuke and I did nothing as the ANBU took her away. There was nothing to do anyway. Sakura-chan had sealed her fate once she opened her mouth and questioned our orders. I clenched my fist as we stood there, waiting for Kakashi-Sensei and Yuki to arrive for the mission that Sakura-chan was being taken away for questioning.
