Today looked to be one of the very few days Yuki could have a day off, her initial plans were to go to the Dragon festival, but that was thrown out the window when she saw the Hokage's hawk.
"Just one day! One! I'd like to have a day off!" Yuki mutters to herself before slipping into her ninja gear and walking towards the door.
Her movements caught the attention of her mother who was in the living room helping her younger cousins with their festival outfits.

"Yuki? Where are you going? The festival starts in a few minuets."
Stopping for a moment, Yuki sighs before turning around. Her mother, upon seeing her outfit choice, allows a sad expression to cross her face while her younger cousins looked over with excitement in their eyes, only for it to die out when they saw what she was wearing.
"You have a mission?" Her mother asked.
The hurt and disappointment in her eyes was enough to hurt Yuki, but the added disappointment in her cousins' eyes felt like a slap in the face.
"Yea, I was just summoned by Lady Hokage."
"But it's your day off!" Kyle, one of her cousins, shouts while balling up his tiny fists as tears gather in his eyes as he stares up at Yuki.
"I'm sorry." Yuki whispers before turning around while releasing her wings and leaving.

"Your mission is simple. You are to retrieve a scroll from the Mist and bring it back." Tsunade says while looking up from the mission scroll to team 10 and Yuki.
"This scroll contains highly classified information so this is an A-rank, possibly S-rank, mission. Shikamaru will be captain, any questions?"
No one spoke, making Tsunade continued.
"You are to leave in two hours. Dismissed."
The four of them quickly left the office before splitting up to get what they needed.

Yuki was flying towards the town square as she had gathered everything she needed and hoped to catch some of the festival. She landed on a telephone pole near the town square and saw the little kids getting ready for the dragon dance while Kōri stood on the platform to introduce the dance while Tsubasa and Kibo stood off to the side watching.
Just as the dragon dance was about to start, Yuki saw a ROOT operative and sighed. She knew a mission from them would be coming up soon, but she had hoped that she'd at least have some sort of break, especially after the last one. Following the operative, she entered the ROOT hideout where she kneeled before Myle.
