Save Me

- Yuki's pov. -

An attack. You never expect it. You never anticipate it. It just happens.

I always thought that the Clan was prepared for things like this. We had guards at the gate, in the tree tops, even one outside the clan head's home just in case. Never did I ever think something like this would ever happen.

They struck while Naruto and Sasuke were over for dinner. Everything was fine, everything was calm.

And then it happened.

The lights went out. Knockout gas speared into the kitchen and everyone started coughing. Bodies hitting the floorboards were the next sound that I was able to hear before hitting the ground as well. Before falling into unconsciousness though, I saw one of the guards jump right in front of me covered in lightning.

"Hana......" I say while reaching my hand out towards her before it hits the floor and I loose consciousness.

- Third person's pov.-

Screams and fire erupt throughout the compound. Doragon ninja fly after the intruders while either firing golden arrows or manipulating their golden chakra to grab them, all while trying to avoid injuring Yuki who was being kidnapped.

"DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY!!!!" Kaze shouts in anger while shooting golden bullets out of his fingers, having given up on his arrows, and blinking away the blood in his left eye from the cut above his eyebrow.

During all of this, the fires and screams gain the attention of the Nara Clan who sound the alarm before sending ninja to help. The alarm in the process wakes up everyone, including Shikamaru.

"What's going on?" He asks while rubbing sleep out of his eyes before the situation at hand fully makes an impression on him.

Eyes widening, he runs to the compound gates only to see the Doragon Clan's compound on fire while a bunch of their ninja and ninja from the Nara Clan were chasing after a dark figure who had a child on its shoulder. It was running his way so, like any smart person, he made a trip wire.

Once the figure started to pass him, Shikamaru pulled the wire, making the figure fall to the ground along with the child they were carrying. In the light of the fire, Shikamaru was able to make out the child.

"Yuki!" He shouts and lunges towards her, only to be kicked into the wall of the Nara Compound wall resulting in several broken ribs and a fractured leg.

Looking towards where the figure had fallen, he could make out another figure grabbing both Yuki and the other figure and sprinting away as the Doragon and Nara ninjas began to catch up to them.

"Yuki......" Shikamaru mutters before falling into unconsciousness as his body falls from the wall and onto the street below.

//With Kaze and the group of ninja //

The ninja flew after the figures. Dodging jutsu and traps left and right. At this point, they had left the village and were following the figures through the forest.

"Come on... Faster!" Kaze shouts while flapping his wings harder, shooting himself forwards and closer to Yuki.

Making finger guns, he shoots the figure holding Yuki in the arm and leg causing them to fall and let go of Yuki. Feeling a glimmer of hope, he reaches out to grab her, only to be thrown back by the second figure who kills their comrade and grabs Yuki before sprinting away.

Enraged, Kaze shoots forwards in a blind rage. Reaching his arm out, he almost grabs ahold of Yuki's hand only for the figure to deliver a roundhouse kick to Kaze's side sending him into a tree and breaking his wing.

The other ninja continue forwards, shooting arrows at them. A Nara ninja jumps down next to Kaze and helps him retreact his wings back into his tattoo before helping him up and jumping after the rest of the group.

Right as they catch up, they witness the figure shoot around a dozen kunai at the ninja, four of them sinking into the foreheads of Doragon Nin while the other two kunai hit Nara Nin in the shoulder. In the panic of dodging kunai or catching the bodies of the fallen, the figure teleports away. A smile of victory spread across its face is the first, and last thing the ninja are able to see before the two are gone.

"No! Yuki!!" Kaze shouts, tears running down his face as he falls to his knees.

"Sir, we have the body of the other figure. We must take it back to the village for intel of where they have taken Yuki-Sama." A Doragon ninja states while hovering besides Kaze.

Wiping his eyes Kaze stands, a dark look in his eye, "Let's get back and get all the information of these bastards. They're going to wish they never entered the village, let alone the compound."

//Doragon Clan Compound //

As the fires are being put out by ninja and civilian alike, worried thoughts run through all their minds. The only daughter of the Clan Head had been taken, and the compound had taken a hit too. Luckily no one was killed in the fire, but that just made it an insult. The figure had slipped into the compound, the village, so easily and taken the girl.

Even without saying it, the ninja of the Doragon knew search parties would be sent out if the group chasing the figures didn't come back with Yuki. The Clan Head wouldn't allow this to stand. The Hokage wouldn't let it stand. They wouldn't let it stand.

"Hey everyone! Look at this!" A civilian shouts from the head's house.

Ninja and civilian alike crowd around and witness what the commotion was all about. On the head's door was a carving of Kumogakure, along with Yuki's necklace without which they wouldn't able to find her as easily.

"What's it mean?" Civilians questioned each other while others panicked.

Over the loudness of the civilians, the ninja all exchanged dark looks with one another. This meant war.
