Hidden Missions

Yuki could do a lot of things.

Lie, Cheat, Murder. Those were things she's had to do on the daily while being a ninja, but a mission inside another one was not something she had ever done or looked forward to.

She had heard of ninja completing tasks on the side of their missions as well as those who had another objective than their teammates while on mission. She had never heard of a ninja completing a mission with two different end goals though, so when she was called to ROOT's base right after coming out of a mission briefing with the Hokage she started to stress.

It had only been a week since her episode during the storm and she could already tell that this mission would give her night terrors for weeks as soon as she knelt before a frowning Myle.

"That foolish Hokage gave you a mission to bring back a rouge for interrogation. You are to assassinate the rouge before this can happen and bring their body back as proof. This 'rouge' ninja is one of ROOT's informative and has been made, hence the mission from the Hokage." Myle says while glaring down at Yuki, "Failure to accomplish this mission will not be tolerated. Is that understood?"

"Hai."

"Good, dismissed."

"What am I going to do Rēi?" Yuki groans while sealing food and weapons into scrolls before stuffing them in the pouch on her left leg before putting a new pile of explosion tags in the pouch on her right leg.

"A clone? Would that work?" Rēi asked while watching Yuki pack.

As soon as she had left the ROOT hideout, she had rushed home to pack as she would be leaving with her team in 20 minuets. 20 Minuets to panic and pack, easy.

"ROOT won't fall for that and neither will the TI department." Yuki huffs out before before sliding the black jacket she had taken accustom to wearing on missions that had her clan symbol embroidered on the right breast in white.

"Well, then I don't know. Maybe you could pull off that reanimated jutsu that the second Hokage created?" Rēi said as he shrank down to the size of a house cat before crawling up Yuki's arm and laying across her shoulders.

"That might work but I'd need another body to do that..." Yuki trailed off as she jumped out her window before flying towards the front gates. "You think I'd be able to send a clone out to kill some random rouge while the other two are sleeping and do the jutsu?"

"If you play your cards right sure, but it'd be good to be prepared in case they wake up. It's a good thing I put a bottle of poison in with your food scroll." Rēi casually says as they approach the gates.

Yuki shoots his a look as they began to descend, "I'm not killing my teammates Rēi. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean that I don't as well."

Rēi only rolls his eyes, "It's not like it'll kill them. Just an upset stomach, they'd think it was food poisoning."

Yuki glares harder at Rēi before he sighs, "Fine, no poison."

"What about poison?" A voice from behind them asks causing Yuki to turn around quickly to see Naruto and Sasuke walk up to them. "You planning on killing me? I didn't know I was that annoying." Naruto jokes with a smile while Sasuke rolls his eyes.

"Honestly, I'm surprised you're still alive." Sasuke comments while crossing his arms as a small smirk crosses his face at the sight of Naruto's gasping face.

"Hey! Hurtful!"

Yuki rolls her eyes at the two followed by Rēi groans of agony at the sight of the whiskered shinobi.
