It hadn't even been a day after we came back from our mission when Naruto left us to become a Sage after the news of Jiraiya's death was given to us. He had died on a mission in the Rain village after a run in with the leader of the Akatsuki, Pain.
It had been only three weeks since he left for his training when Pain came to the village. Not pain physically but Pain the person.
The day started out as any day would. I woke up, got ready for the day, met up with the team to train, train, and then meet up with Shikamaru and hang out with him until dinner. It was during the time I was on my way to a hill where we met up everyday when the first wave hit.

Buildings all over the village exploded or where destroyed as multiple summonings appeared everywhere and began to attack anything that moved. I was in the market when the distraction started. I had changed out of my cloths from training and the only weapon I had on me was my kunai pouch that was filled to the brim with seals that Naruto had made for me.
A gust of wind blew into the area I was in and knocked me into a building. When I stood up and looked around, I wouldn't have know it was the market had I not been their before.
Ash fell from the sky and rubble from the buildings laid on the ground. Screams pierced the air as a large three headed dog ran into the market from where the blast of air had come from and began to attack the buildings that survived the wind.
Quickly, I spread my wings and began to get people out of the way of falling buildings and grabbing those that jumped out of the ones that were being crushed underfoot by the three headed dog.

Soon enough I had evacuated the buildings and ushered the civilians towards the evacuation tunnels where they would stay while the ninja took care of the summons. After the last civilian made their way into the tunnels I turned around and faced the summons that were destroying the village.
I quickly begin to form hand signs before slamming my hands to the ground creating a puff of smoke which disappeared quickly to reveal a midnight colored dragon with silver fur that ran down its spine.
"Shadow, can you please help me defend my home and save the civilians?"
Shadow nods before taking off into the sky quickly followed by me. We were going to go for the summons before seeing who had sent them but were interrupted once we noticed a man floating in the sky.
Glancing at Shadow, we both nod towards each other before racing towards the man as he seemed to be the cause of the chaos. Down below we could see Lady Tsunade and the ANBU guard she kept with her at all times running towards the man.
"Let the world know pain!" The man shouted before he began to make a series of hand signs.
"How about no!" I shout before shooting golden bullets at him causing him to pause in his signs and turn towards me.
