🎼Play Music🎼Yuki thought the worse thing to happen to her would be the incident with her wings. She was wrong.
Secrets.
Those were more painful than any injury she could have.
Standing in shocked silence, Yuki and the remaining rookies stood in the Hokage's office as they processed the information they were given. The Hokage had finally realized she hadn't told them about Sakura and thought it was better late than never.
"She's dead?" Ino asked, still shocked by the news.
Tsunade nods in confirmation before turning back to her paper work and dismisses them. Collectively, the rookies file out of the room silently before exiting the Hokage tower all together. Once out, it then dawned on them that Yuki hadn't said a word since the news was given to them. Turning to her, the others were shocked to see the sad smile Yuki gave them in return while tears ran down her face.
"I had a feeling she wouldn't make it back alive." Is all she says before spreading her fully healed wings and taking off towards her compound to continue training for the next part of the Jounin exams.
They watched her fly off before turning to Shikamaru for answers.
He sighs before speaking, "She and her team watched Sakura get taken away." Is all he says before walking away.
One by one, the others left the front of the Kage tower until all that was left were wet patches on the ground from the group's tears.

Yuki touches down outside the gates of the clan and right away she was bombarded by the guards who told her the elders wanted to speak with her. Nodding, she spread her wings again before flying towards the meeting hall.
Upon arriving, she was escorted to the main room where all the elders, her parents, and the triplets sat talking in low tones to each other. As soon as she walked in, there conversations ended and watched as she walked to the center of the room and sat down on the pillow left for her. It was silent for a good minuet before Hagane sighs and starts the meeting.
"So, a couple years ago we almost made a deal with the Uchiha Clan. It never happened so we thought that would be the end of it, until the Hokage found the incomplete documents in the archives and wanted to know if we wanted to follow through with it."
At this point, Yuki was confused as to why they were telling her this. Looking over at the others in the room, the triplets looked like the only other people in the room who were confused as well. Seeing their confusion, Hagane sighs before getting to the point.
"It was an arranged marriage between you and the Uchiha head clan's youngest, Sasuke."
And just like that, Yuki's world was turned upside down.
Kibo stood up and started yelling at father for even considering it. Tsubasa, the brother who was normally clam, looked as if he'd flip a table and Kōri looked a second away from zapping Hagane with lightning. All this happened while Hana, their mother, sat on her pillow and looked as if she had already yelled about this and had won.
Bringing his hand up, Kibo stops yelling and Hagane takes this time to explain. "At the time, the Uchiha clan was having some problems and assumed that a marriage between the clans would fix it. At first, the elders were all for it as it would not only strengthen the ties between the two clans, but also give our clan a powerful next generation. But after finding out why they thought the marriage would be the best, our clan denied it and all the plans stopped and documents were never signed. We're letting you know about it now so that if it ever comes up again you won't be surprised."
It was silent for a moment before Yuki spoke, an angry yet confused and disgusted look covering her face, "Um, thanks and everything for not going through with it but... WHAT THE HELL!"
One of the elders frown, "Yuki-san! That is no way to speak towards your father, never mind the clan head!"
"Oh, I'm sorry." Yuki says with so much sass Kōri smirks in pride, " But I'm a little shocked at the fact that you were going tO MARRY ME OFF TO ANOTHER CLAN TO STRENGTHEN TIES WITH THEM!!!"
"YUKI!" Hagane shouts while standing up, "That's enough! It's in the past."
"No, she's right." Kibo says while standing up, a glare marring his face, "That's absolutely reticules! How is she not supposed to be surprised?!"
"Yea! And why the hell would you think an arranged marriage was fine anyway?! Our clan, along with every other one, gave up the practice of arranged marriages after the first shinobi war! We live in the village now and before that we were allies of it and lived outside the walls so there was no point of having one anyway!" Kōri shouts, just as angered as his brothers were.
The room silences though when Tsubasa stands up. The elders and Hagane thought he would be on there side and agree with their reasonings; but that wasn't what happened. Tsubasa stood with his siblings while hugging Yuki close who had begun to feel faint after all of the stress she had been put under from training as well as all the bad news she had received that day.
Glaring, Tsubasa addressed Hagane and the elders, "We will be leaving now. Do not bring this up ever again."
They then turned and left, leaving the room in silence before Hana breaks it.
"Well, what did you expect?" Hana asked while she stood up and began to leave as well. "You're all living in the old ages if you believed that would go over fine."
She then left, leaving the elders and her husband silent in the meeting hall.
