"So... ROOT is still out there..." Yuki says while looking over the dead bodies of the ROOT operatives they were able to take out before the rest fled.

"Yea, what do you think Lady Tsunade will do about this?" Kōri asks while stepping on a body as the two walk out of the arena.

It had been announced that all high ranking personnel were to meet on top of the Kage tower for an announcements and assignments following the aftermath of ROOT getting away and Danzo's execution.

"Not sure, could be missions to track down the rest of ROOT and eliminate them." Yuki says before looking at the position of the sun, "Come on, it's starting soon."

-Naruto's pov. -

"As you're all aware, ROOT is still out there and a problem." Lady Tsunade addresses the ninja below, it hadn't even been an hour since the attack and the village was already dealing with the fires Danzo left burning.

Tsunade then began assigning different teams to missions in a variety of places but one major theme was common in all; to gain information on ROOT and discover who was pulling the strings now that Danzo was dead. I wasn't listening closely after that, only listening for my squad number, but I was pulled out of my thoughts by chatter breaking out between ranks.

"Quiet down!" Lady Tsunade shouts before clearing her throat.

Looking around me, I could tell only the squads from my generation as well as some of the older squads were still in the room. I didn't know why so many of us were left, but it seemed to be big seeing how tense Lady Tsunade was.

"For the squads left, you will being attending as guards at the Daimyō's palace. He has invited myself, the other nation's Daimyōs and Kage to discuss what to do regarding the mess Danzo left us. This is also to improve village relations." Lady Tsunade then explains.

'Well, guess that's why there are so many of us left.' I then glance over at Yuki and couldn't help but see how her muscles tense up at the mention of the other Kage attending the meeting.

We were then dismissed. I walked over to Yuki who was trying to leave early but grabbing her by the arm and pulling her to the side.

"Hey, whats up with you?"

She looked down before looking at me with dread in her eyes, "They'll be there, I'm positive."

"Who'll be there?" I asked, confused where this conversation was going.

"The men who kidnapped me."

"What do you mean the guys who kidnapped you will be there?" I ask while we jump from tree to tree as our group was sent ahead to provide security before the rest of the nations arrived. "Lady Tsunade said only the Daimyōs and the other Kage from the other nations will be there."

"You really think the other countries would let their leaders leave their village without guards?" Yuki shoots towards me before ducking under branches as we jumped. "The men seemed to be ranked high enough to be tasked with the mission to grab me so they could be there."

"But you don't know for sure." Sasuke says from beside me, his sharingan activated as he watched for any unwanted people while I sent my chakra out to pick up chakra signatures as well.

Yuki sighs in annoyance at us for not taking this as seriously as she wanted us to.

"You do know they could try to get me again right?"
