"So are you going to call her?" I asked as I looked forward towards the road. Lauren was driving us back home. Emily fell asleep on the ride back.
"I don't know. I don't have her number." She said also not looking away from the road.
"So if she texts you to go out will you go out with her?" I asked.
"I don't know she's cute but..., what do you think? Should I go out with her?" She asked taking quick glances at me.
"No, but it's your choice." "No? You don't think I should go for it?" She asked as she parked but we didn't move to get out. She turned to face me waiting for my answer.
"I don't know... it's just.. you your self said you have a baby to look after." I was nervous I didn't trust that Jessica one bit.
"You have a baby to look after too yet you get to go out on dates." She said. She's right I did go out with Austin twice. Lauren has been stuck home since she got here.
"You're right" I sighed in defeat. "It wouldn't be fair."
"Good. I don't even know why your making a big deal about this she probably wont even call" And just like that the she devil calls Lauren. I got out of the car leaving Lauren alone to talk to Jessica. I took Emily with me upstairs.
Lauren ended up talking to Jessica in the car for almost two hours.

"So when's your date?" I asked Lauren not really interested. We were eating pancakes my mom made since Lauren prefers her to make them instead of me.
"Tonight. I just don't know where to take her." Again. Not really interested. She'll probably take her to a stinky lake and watch the sunset with bugs flying all over them.
"Oh." I said I really don't have any interest in that date.
"Well I'll be out all day. I'll come back to get ready for my date so I'll uhh see you later." She said as she got up and placed her dish in the sink and left.
I gave her a fake smile that disappeared the moment she turned around. It's going to be a long day.

Lauren was out all day, I was bored here by myself since my parents went to my grandmas and took Emily with them. I stayed back so Lauren wouldn't be alone since she can't be left alone.
Usually when it was just Lauren and I we would bake cakes or she would lecture me on how baseball works.
I heard the front door open and close and someone running up the stairs. Lauren. I ran up behind her. "Oh hey Lauren I was thinking maybe we could try and bake some cookies tonight and-" "Sorry Camz I have a date remember but maybe some other time." She said politely and ran into the shower with her clothes and towel and slammed the door closed. "Okay" I whispered to myself.
