So when Johnny suggested the pub for any place that pops in his head for a techy I thought it was a bad idea... Granted I didn't say anything and now wish I would have...
As we walked up the long stoned steps to the church turned pub there was an invisible force that rushed at us, we could all feel it sending chills up our spines.
Even O sandwich herself between Johnny and I...
MW and Kay took lead, even they stepped back as if moving or being moved out of the way...
They looked back to see if we felt it too...
I'm sure the look on our faces said it all...
............................................................................
"Maybe we should just go with my guy.
I mean look at her clearly this is a bad idea." Kay pointed out.
"No...
I'm fine its just more or less a resting ground or a nutral zone in a sence.
In short we should be okay." O nervously explained.
"And in long we're not okay?" MW said sarcastically as she moved further away and towards her mini human wall blocking her only exit.
"What are you afraid of a few demons?" Johnny teased which resulted in O death gripping his hand and Cam's "Seriously!" Remark and MW glaring at him.
"Okay what's the plan.
Are we leaving or are we going to find this kid?" Kay asked as she retreated back to join the group once she relized she was alone at the entrance.
"I vote your Forensic team." Cam said. everyone else agreed except O who snatched Kay's bag with the footage and went inside the pub.
"Well I guess our choice was over ruled." Johnny teased and went after O.
Once inside the grand building it looked like a glorified saloon.
Equiped with a prayer room?
"Thats odd." Cam pointed out.
"Told you it was a church." Johnny said as he grabbed Cam by the sleeve and pulled him towards a table where O stood next to a boy with white hair and very drab clothes.
He had the area set up like his own personal computer space.
"I need you guys to take a seat." The boy said as he typed away never looking up.
"So your Griff?" Johnny inquired as he took a seat across from him, everyone else followed suit.
"The one and only.
Now for the next ten minutes I need complete silence." Griff said as he still typed away never looking at them.
"Your kidding..." MW started to say over the loud noise of the pub.
When suddenly all was silent.
"Like I said total silence." Griff pressed a button on one of his keyboards and an invisible sound proof barier surrounded them.
He regret glancing up at the dumbfounded humans.
"Ugh...
Its a seperation between us and them.
To them we are still here but we are in a completely different realm...
Err...
Well....
You know I'm not even sure what you call it.
Maybe more of a ripple.
Either way doesn't matter.
What matters is we can talk and they can't easdrop.
By the way Agent Daniels here, it safe for you to look at the fottage now.
I could only dumb it down to an R raiting.
If I went any lower well you wouldn't get what you'd need.
This one is the hard copy, your original on one usb, watch literally at your own risk." Griff turned his laptop for them to look at and handed Kay the usb.
"Wait this doesn't make sense.
How can you possibly have footage of me?" Johnny spotted his thirteen year old self chained up.
"Its not really you.
See demons love to play act, rehash your worst nightmare.
Since you were there its mostlikly a memory torment.
The boy isn't really you.
If you interacted with them, you would have been told by that younger you, that it was something you did wrong to end up there." Griff tried to explain but he seemed distracted by something off in the distance.
"Wait so its another demon?" Cam questioned.
"Thats right Sherlock.
See anything that isn't supposed to be and is out of place, it took a step out of the Spiritual and into the natural or like I call it human realm, cuz face it wich is natural?
To myself and O, Spiritual is natural to us while this isn't...
Oh wait can't actually use this place either not so natural.
As I know you already figured out.
I saw you spotted the chapel can anyone guess why?" Giff was tying to help them get ahold of what's going on.
"No.
Can you tell us why?" MW was getting anoyed by the goth geek.
"She's no fun.
The reson is you have memories of both realms, this pub resides in the fake memory creepy Jones made and that chapel is still being used as we speak in the realm you known which lets face it is the real realm.
Now chances are someone is actually in there praying for who ever  making it link into this realm.
That person's faith is stronger than Jones game.
See he never realzes that the faith of just one of you people not even tied to his reality can make it all fold like a house of card in a breeze." Griff explained some more as his pupils just looked at him in dissbelief or confusion.
"Okay this pub was set on top of the church.
Stupid on Jonses part.
You people see a pub. Everyone else sees a church.
You follow?" He waited for some shrugs and nods.
"This place only excists because it did hundreds of years back in oh I don't know cowboys and indian times.
So you are in an active Demon hub if you will.
The people who built the church didn't know its history just a plot of land they built on many years after a horrific battle." Griff stopped to let them process.
"So your saying the original pub or saloon at the time resulted in deaths and all kinds of evil things turning it into another..." Cam stopped talking when he saw what appeared to be a cowboy but there was just something horribly wrong with his appearance.
"Yeah, stop looking at him trust me you don't want to know the reality of what he looks like.
Yes Cam it was.
I think you or well we better get out of here its getting to the witching hour or what I like to say..."
"Don't tell me the haunting hour." Johnny rolled his eyes and stood up he started to walk but Griff hadn't turned of his...
Whatever it was resuling in a very bad experience.
Griff tried to stop them.
"Umm...
This looks bad.
Is this bad?" Cam said to Johnny as they backed up.
They had pistols and riffles pointed at them.
"Yes Cam this is bad!" MW hissed.
"Can someone explain our wardrobe change?" Kay muttered.
Johnny and Cam looked back to see both Kay and MW in saloon dresses.
"Quit looking at me like that!" Kay covered her chest and tried to smak Johnny who stopped her hand.
"Howdy pretty lady." Johnny winked and than noticed his brother half drooling, he snapped Cam out of it before Kay could notice.
"Guys can we get back to the bigger picture here." MW said.
Directing them back to the hostile cowboys.
"Everybody sit down!" A gun fire followed.
To their amaizment it was Jones.
And everyone complied to his order.
"Looks like my Children stumbled into something they shouldn't have." Jones pointed the barrel of his shot gun on Johnny's throat.
"Technically its not their fault Jones." Griff said as he burst through the doors with the usb of his virsion of the footage.
"I kept them to long.
They didn't know the shield wasn't down." Griff tried to explain.
"Ah the geeky goth." Another man who looked heavier and rougher than Jones sneered as he grabbed Griff by the back of the neck.
"Carson don't kill the boy he's still useful." Jones said.
Carson shoved him with the rest of the group.
"We should move this party to the sheriffs office so the good folkes can get back to their enjoyment." Jones sneered as he put iron cuffs on Johnny and half drug him out.
Carson and a few deputy/goones followed suit with the rest.
"Griff where's O?" Johnny asked.
Once they were tossed in the cell.
And Jones left them alone to tend to a dispute.
"She's in her element, probably figured away to get Bellamy here along with her papa bear, wolf and horse not to mention other animals that don't really fit in this place." Griff said nonchalantly.
MW and Kay were given cowboy outfits to switch into, compliments of Jones.
"Can I hurt him now or later.
Either way I'm going to hurt this kid if he doesn't start making sense." MW snapped and tried to swing at him but Johnny stopped her.
"She has a good point granted none of this make any sense." Kay said.
"Look none of its really logical, except when you went to that place of memory that was fact with underlining demon activity like you got in the footage.
This place is totally spiritual realm. Demon hub if you will, also advance training grounds for warriors so thats a plus.
If Gabe is running a training course we can get saved and an expert can clear this all up for you." Griff tried to explain.
"Wait are you saying we were never home?" Johnny inquired.
"You never left the ruins.
In fact if Jones willed it, we would all wake up chained in the dungeons.
Remember your time in the Lords garden you weren't physically there just spiritually.
Your young souls couldn't handle the stress and he interviened saving you by assururing you your safety and freedom.
Unlike this situation Jones is using it to exstract information he thinks we all have leading to his fortune and who knows what else your grandfather Alestar Black took from him." Griff explained.
"Wait thats impossible. Jones looks no older than forty?" Cam stated.
"Well, he along with a lot of us are not as old as we look see time has no relevance here.
As long as Jones and people like him are useful their youth is renewed.
As for those like your mom they to are renewed but in strength mainly which has the added effect of appearance.
My people well we are double agents and just skim by, getting the benifits of both worlds if we except." Griff could tell this was another over their heads moment but he didn't have time to explain any clearer.
Jones and Carson returned with another familiar face from Cam's nightmare.
"Raf." Griff nodded.
"Well I don't believe it.
I thought I'd never see you again Griff. Along with my inheritance." Raf smirked as he neared their cell.
"My little song bird." Raf locked eyes onto MW who tried to make herself invisible behind the twins and Kay.
"Now that we are all back together I bet you boys want some real answers instead of Griff's pethetic attempt at explaining." Alex said as he entered with Mack in toe.
The sight of those two alone was enough to strike fear in their hearts. Except Kay, she was yet to deal with well any of these men.....
