As they all stood there on the porch looking into the dark void neither of them spoke.
They even stilled their breathing.
Cam reached and grabbed hold of Lexi's hand and squeezed tight for reassurance that this was really happening.
Johnny was the first to start taking a step in when Lexi and Cam both grabbed his hood and haulted him.
"I don't plan on staying out here the whole time...
Plus looks like a storm is coming." Johnny pointed to the suddenly dark ominous sky.
"Wow thats odd...
My weather app said clear and sunny.
Not dark and stormy with maybe a touch of hurricane and hail!" Cam yelled and shoved everyone in his way into the cabin as he got pelted with hail.
"You remember the last time we were here there was a full on tornado had to spend the night in the dungeon man you were being such a baby..." Johnny laughed as he ran his fingers through his wet hair.
"I'd reather have braved the storm instead of being in the tourcher chamber." Johnny half grumbled as he flicked on lights.
They were shocked the light actually worked and thankfully the so called death trap was not in the living spaceslike they imagined.
Cam took off for his room with Lexi in toe since he was yet to let go of her hand.
As they entered Cam was surprised just like his nightmare all was intact right on down to the book bag with his classic pooh bear and friends stuff animals.
"Cam can you tell me what happened here the other night?" Lexi asked as she sat on the edge of the bed next to him.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." Cam stated as he lined the toys up against the headboard.
"I will." Lexi assured him.
"I don't even believe." Cam chuckled.
He was still looking away from her as he fussed with the toys.
"Cam please I need to know so we can catch them and stop them from hurting more people and getting to you and Johnny again." Lexi pressed as she touched his shoulder.
She was beginning to wander if it was to much pressure for him that she was putting on him.
Cam took a deep sigh as he turned to her holding onto Eyor like a child.
"They call it the Spiritual realm.
There are warriors who fight for our souls to protect us.
Than there are those who are the Shadow Dwellers or evil ones, better yet one called Death.
They are trying to get our souls.
Some how Johnny and I along with our team got there in the Spiritual realm.
That's where we found out mom and Dad are still alive and that they had another kid that's Miles and our half sibs Bellamy and Octavia and..." Cam was hushed by Lexi.
"I'm sorry...
Your right its a bit far fetched Cam.
I mean it explains how Miles is here sort of but Spiritual realms and Sadow Dwellers?
I don't know Cam sounds like a fairy tale." Lexi smirked.
At first Cam felt defeted but than yet he said himself he doesn't believe it.
"Told ya it was nuts." Cam smirked.
"So what's in the bag you had with you when you got here?" Lexi inquired.
Cam wasn't sure if he should tell her, it was technically evidence.
"My Dad, uncle and grandpa's journals.
I read my dad's and grandpa's I just haven't brought myself to read Alexander's." Cam handed her the note book that matched the death for July and Allison.
Lexi read the page out loud for Cam...
'I can't believe that girl telling me what for...
she got what she deserved she was lucky to die so quickly that pretty little thing...'
Lexi read further on.
"Even as a child he was like what twelve and he still wanted to go after that girl that pig...
Wait die!?" Lexi's eyes grew wide.
"In dad and Grandpa's she fell off a cliff.
At a later age when another girl dies the same way that's when our dad started wandering if Alexander was a killer." Cam said turning Alexander's page to that date.
Lexi read it out loud...
'I can't believe that Allison got pregnant and expected me to be the one to care for her and that thing...
Well jokes on her.
Granted I was punished for getting her pregnant I don't know how my old man knew but that's all he knew.
I think Bash is suspecting something might have to do something again to make him forget like I did with July...'
"I can't believe someone would actually write about this for the fact anyone could find it." Lexi half whispered as she paged through the note book.
"July?" Lexi inquired.
"July is the first girl Alexander killed I think...
She's burried just beyond our property its in this book I think I know where too Johnny and I always got this odd feeling when we ventured that far.
We always thought it was because if Alexander thought we were trying to get away but now its probably this." Cam handed Lexi his Grandpa's journal opened to the page of about Alexander when he buried July.
She read quietly the same page that Johnny and Cam read just last night.
"He drugged your dad...
Probably so he could deal with Alexander.
It's as if he knew your uncle was a killer he just jumps to assume.
Have you read earlier journals from Alistar?" Lexi inquired.
"This one looks dated to be their third birthday." Cam looked through and opened it he started reading.
'Today my boys turn three oh Agatha I wish you were still here to enjoy this.
Sebastian is so bright, as for Alexander I have my doubts, he is always getting into trouble and on my last nerve just last night he pushed Bash off the bed and just laughed at him.
I tought him a leasson he will never do that to his brother again.'
"Sounds like Cam and me.
I remember pulling his hair after he bit me.
We were three but that was the first time I ever got a beating from who I thought was my dad." Johnny said as he leaned against the door way.
"You don't think he was doing everything to I don't know recreate his child hood?" Lexi inquired.
"The guy is nuts I wouldn't doubt it." Johnny smirked as he sat on the bed behind Cam.
'I can't believe Alexander.
I swear he wants me to kill him he is always doing something he shouldn't.
Today he killed the neighbors birds with that stupid BB gun.
Poor bash has been crying about it all day.'
"He hurts Alexander again leaves him tied up for days.
Even Bash who tried to get to him was punished.
I think no offense your Grandpa is just as nuts maybe a bit more level headed than your uncle.
But come on who dose this to a kid for shooting birds.
Heck who gave him the stupid gun in the first place." Lexi was becoming angry.
"This one's dated well the time you were here Lex." Cam gasped as he started reading.
'It was like stealing candy from a baby that rich mother was so nieve and that sweet little girl...'
"Ummm...
Yeah maybe that's enough reading." Cam snapped the book shut.
But Lexi snatched it away and continued reading silently.
Tears rolled down her cheek as she read what Alexander did to her mother than her not to mention the beatings he done to Cam to force him to watch and the beatings he did to Johnny all that day.
"How can he write this like it was just a normal daily activity?" Lexi cried.
Johnny hated seeing girls cry.
He wrapped his arms around her.
"He's a pawn for the evil one must have been forever maybe Alistar sold Alexander's soul to the devil that would explain a lot." Johnny half joked making Cam smirk and Lexi chuckle lightly.
"Thank you...
I wish you two would have came with me instead of sending me away alone." Lexi said as she dried her eyes.
"You know he wouldn't let us go, you were safer alone obviously." Johnny said as he pointed to his arm.
"Yeah well I don't know Lexi still had it hard when my dad died and mom remarried the creep.
Thankfully we got him put away but still the things Brad Young did to her and me.
But yet probably doesn't scratch the surface of the torment you two endrured for almost ever." Derek spoke from the door way.
"Wait Brad young!?" Johnny knew that name he heard it in prison.
Young was one of the men who attacked him.
"No don't tell me he was in there with you." Lexi gasped she knew that man was a grade A bully who destroy anyone he felt in any way possible.
Johnny became flush with fear.
"He was...
He also escaped...
I heard Jones mention him by his last name that's the only way I knew him too." Johnny half gaulped.
