Chapter 55

Jones grabed Cam and drug him out of the room while Carson started beating on Johnny all the while Cam tried to break free to help Johnny but the more he struggled the tighter and more painful was Jones' grip on him.
Jones shoved Cam into a small room and shut the door leaving him in total darkness.
"Where's Cam!?" Johnny snapped as Carson held him to the ground when Jones returned, alone.
"He's alive.
For now.
Your uncle double crossed us!
Lucky for us he left you two behind." Jones said as he walked over and kicked Johnny in the ribs.
"That creep is not our uncle!" Johnny snapped and coughed as he tried to get air but was difficult due to his stomach was pressed against the floor as Carson pinned him there with his whole weight on Johnny's back.
"True...
What uncle would torcher his precious infant nephews?" Jones sneared as he grabbed Johnny by the hair and slammed his head into the ground. Leaving Johnny dazed as Carson still held him to the floor on his stomach.
"Chain him to the wall!
Can't risk an escape while we tourcher his brother." Jones smirked as he left.
"Leave him alone!" Johnny yelled and struggled but got ramed in the gut getting the wind knocked out of him by Carson before he left Johnny gasping for air.
The door opened and the light came in filling the small room, shining on Cam sitting in the corner, he couldn't make out who was coming in and he was concerned it was Alexander.
"Lets go!
We only have a small window to escape.
Not to mention go free Johnny too." Newt said as he helped Cam to his feet.
"Where's!?..." Johnny started to say when he spotted Cam coming in behind Newt.
"Whats going on?" Johnny asked as he looked confusingly at them.
Cam shrugged.
"A small window to escape according to Newt." Cam said just as confused.
"I'll explain once we are out of here." Newt said as he got the chains off Johnny and helped him to his feet.
He led them out and into the woods.
"Can you explain how this was even remotely possible?" Johnny asked as they rested.
Newt looked around to make sure they were not followed.
"Well apparently your uncle double crossed them.
But he was actually drugged by yours truly and I screwed up a few things purposely so they would be angry with him.
Now when they thought they'd have time to tourcher you I kinda gave them a mess to deal with first." Newt said with a sly smirk.
"Now what?" Johnny asked as he remembered they were not in the real world according to Grif and that the ruins was the hub.
"We go look for the others and find the exit, hopefully away from the ruins and any land connected to them." Newt said as he looked up.
"What the heck was that?!" Cam said as a huge animal flew over head.
"Your ride." Newt smirked as he blew on a dog wistle making two of those huge animals swoop in.
"Their giant bats!" Johnny said as he and Cam took a step back.
"We are not bats!" The animal snapped.
The twins looked at Newt who burst out laughing.
"See that gem its actually a transmitter. It translate all animal sounds to human.
Also I would apologize to Ace, he's the leader of the flying foxes and you don't want an angry flight." Newt was still chuckling.
"Are you telling me all the animals we have met could have spoke?
Cuz I saw that gem on all of them." Cam said as he exsamined the other flying foxe's gem.
"Yep...
They are under stricked orders to keep quiet with newbees like you two around after a few that went into shock." Newt said as he streateched and big beautiful wings apeared.
"Okay what's that?!" Johnny jumped back into Ace.
"Yeah a lot of us shadowhunters have angel like abilities and in the spiritual realm we like to get around like this its much fast.
Only certain ones have this ability so don't assume every warrior can fly but than yet there is a lot of us who can except your family has to do with a blood line thing eventually you'll get to understand.
Also just a big FYI Jones and Carson can fly too..." Newt tried to explain but Johnny cut him off.
"Okay this is starting to get way out of hand here.
Can we just get some place far from here than you can take your time to explain this insanity." Johnny said as he looked at the giant flying fox trying to figure out how he was to ride him.
"Just climb on his back and grab hold of his fur and hang on tight.
Cuz if you fall off you'll have to travel the rest of the way by his... Talons?... Or paws?...
Or whetever they're called you get the idea." Newt said with a smirk.
It didn't take long to get to Flying Fox Hill where more kids trained and ran around playing.
It was as beautiful as Octavia said.
Johnny just wish he was in better shape to enjoy it.
"Well here we are Heavean on well... Earth in a away.
By the way your friends are coming our way." Newt smirked as he pointed out MW, Kay, Octavia, Bellamy and Grif heading their way.
As soon as O spotted her brothers she took off running towards them.
She wrapped her arms around Johnny's waist.
"I thought...
I'm glad you two are safe...
You look like crap." O said as she looked at his face and Cam.
"Nice to see you too." Johnny laughed as he hugged back.
Both he and Cam got light headed suddenly.
"We need to get them to the med hut. The altitude and with all they been threw is to much for their bodies to handle." Newt said as he helped Johnny stay on his feet like Grif with Cam.
"Cam?!" Kay looked between the two brothers.
Her eyes started to glisten with tears.
"Its not as bad as it looks" Cam tried to assure her with a smirk as she helped Grif hold Cam up and led him to the med hut.
MW helped with Johnny.
"Put them over there." A man not much older than thirty said.
"That John Stephens.
Aka Dr.Stephens.
And his spunky apprentice H.G. Wellington." Newt said as a curly blonde young guy got infront of them grinning ear to ear.
"I wouldn't say spunky, optimistic and looking for the good in life maybe but not spunky." H.G said with a british accent.
"Wait H.G. Wells?" Cam said with the thermometer in his mouth.
"That makes him Jack the Ripper?!" Johnny said with his eyes wide with fear.
"Nooo...

We are their grand children.
My mother named me after my great great great grandfather the same for John who ironically had a bad childhood but over came it never following in his great great great grandfathers foot steps....
I don't think?..." H.G. explained as he took their blood pressure.
"Is my friend here filling you in on our blood line." John said with the same accent and a smile as he put his arm around H.G.
"Yeah this is beginning to be way to much to compute." Johnny said as he leaned his head back against the wall.
"We have a shrink if you need one." John suggested with a chuckle as he read their charts.
"Just give them that tea Newt has every three hours till their vitals return to normal." John smirked as he helped Cam to his feet and led him to a bed.
"Are you really Jack the Rippers grandkid?" Cam asked wide eyed as he looked at the young doctor standing in front of him preparing his iv.
"Unfortunately yes..." John sighed.
"My mother knew his great grandson he was an awful person was imprisoned for multiple rape and murder charges.
That was of course after he raped her creating me.
It was the talk of the town a new Jack the Ripper tale and the fact another from his blood line about to be born.
My grandparents took my mother and moved out to the country.
They feared I was going to be just the same.
So I was locked away in the cellar.
Thankfully my mother couldn't live like that but unfortunately she couldn't stand the thought of raising me either.
She sighned me over to the orphanage I was five.
Turned out that same year dear old dad was free and being who he was it was H.G.'s parents who were slaughtered by him.
Ironically we became close friends when he was five I was ten.
I became his bodyguard from the big kids.
He hasn't left side ever since."
John smirked as he looked over at H.G. goofing around with Octavia making her laugh.
"Wow...
Here I thought only Johnny and I had it bad." Cam said as he laid back the IV had some morphine to help him relax and sure enough he was relaxed.
"Yeah...
I still think we had it worse." Johnny said from the other bed.
"I don't doubt it.
We all heard about your growing up with you crazy uncle its top news around here." John said as he got Johnny hooked up.
"Wait how did you get the news?
Just like how my mom got our picture." Johnny was starting to feel relaxed.
"I promise to tell you tomorrow right now doctor orders to rest...
H.G. after their drip is done I want you to do another blood pressure check and which ever one is semi normal I want xrays.
I don't think either are serious I just don't want anything overrlooked." John said.
He walked over to the small sitting area where Kay and MW waited.
"How are they?" Kay stood and asked.
"They just need some much needed rest as you all need.
I have a few willing to put you up for the night.
You are more than welcome to stay here.
I made sure to place them where there are four extra beds.
We also sent for the rest of your friends along with Elly and Bash." John explained he turned to see a patient trying to get his attention.
He was about to go tend to them when MW gripped his arm.
"Are you saying Sebastian is still alive and you knew where he was?" MW's eyes filled with both joyful and sad tears.
John smiled and gently took hold of her soulders.
"Yes...
He just like Elly have been doing what they could to protect you all from this unseen realm.
I know with how you were all raised it may not have felt like they protected you.
But trust me if they didn't...
You see all those two have been through in just a few days?
Now imagine being as old if not younger than Octavia in this situation.
In a sence think of what you and they endored as a training, a crule one but effective none the less because your still alive." John explained before he went on to attend to his patients.
"He has a good point you know." H.G. said as he handed her a tissue.
"So...
Are you sleeping here?
I already know the kids are." H.G. smirked as he pointed at the sleeping Octavia who snuggled into bed with Johnny.
Bellamy fast asleep in the bed next to Cam.
Kay couldn't stop looking at how peaceful they looked as a smile graced her face.
"Yes we'll stay here." Kay smiled.
"Where are they!?" A young girl with an accent said as she pulled her young friend by the shirt behind her.
"Dina love we are in a hospital."
Gunter tried to hush.
Taking both Jordan and Dina by surprise.
"Kay!" Dina ran over and gave her a hug.
"Wait until I tell you how we got here!
But first where are my..." Dina gasped as she saw Cam and Johnny bruised in bed with iv and monitors hooked up to them.
"I do need to ask you to keep it down. Please follow me to the family room.
I can fill you.
By the way names H.G. Wellignton." H.G. hushed as he led them to a small glass room where they could still see them.
"Wait did you say H.G. Wells?!" Jordan said finally looking up from his tablet.
"Did you just actually google my name?" H.G. looked at him puzzled.
"Yeah...
Says here that your the great great great grandson of thee H.G. Wells.
You were orphaned as a new born after the brutal murder of your parents.
Well your mother didn't die right away. They said it was a medical miracle.
The injuries alone she had should have killed both of you.
She even lived long enough to hold and name you.
They said she died peacfully she was even smiling." Jordan said as he showed H.G. the news clip.
"Hmm...
Even metions the killer and that he too has a son...
Okay now thats funny...

Wouldn't it be ironic if the two boys met and became friends not knowing how linked their lives really are.
Wow thats a good prediction." H.G. laughed as he handed Jordan his tablet.
"I like you all to meet John Stephens...
aka Jack the Ripper." H.G. introduced and whispered the last part to Jordan who's eyes grew twice their normal size.
"Thanks H.G...." John grumbled he heard the whisper and rolled his eyes at it.
"I want to assure you they are doing good.
Their excepting the treatment...
Don't google me..."
John snapped at Jordan who was typing away.
Dina snached his tablet and put it away in her bag.
Jordan pouted like a child who just got their favorite toy taken away.
"Tomorrow they should be able to get around.
I must insist when they do decide to get up please keep a close watch for signs of dizzyness and nausea and in rare but serious cases blood from the tear duct, nose or ears.
Its rare but I have seen it happen.
Its due to all the stress and or high altitude.
It takes awhile for one to adjust even in good health.
Speaking of that has any of you three been given tea yet?" John asked.
"Yeah some kid named Newt.
It smelt awful but why did it taste like spring when the flowers are in full bloom?" Gunter asked.
While Dina looked at him puzzled and Jordan snickerd.
Gunter slapped him in the head with full force starting a slapping war Dina had to break up.
"Seriously your worse then the twins...
Mine tasted like my grand mothers cookies fresh out of the oven?" Dina smiled with the thought of her grandma.
"Yeah mine tasted like my grand parents chi tea?
Not that stuff you get in the states its really good.
I never got the recipe.
It died along with them." Jordan frowned.
"Well I can't explain it exactly but it takes on you most favorite memories and strongest ties to that memory infact you two links to your grand parents and I assume you take a great deal of pleasure in spring time.
I bet there was a hint of fresh honey too." John smirked.
"There was!
I mean...
I can't explain it...
Its like every floral flavor was there, the taste of fresh spring air and dew.
I think even a crisp rain." Gunter looked puzzled and pleased at the same time.
"I know...
That is my flavor too its amazing." John smirked.
"Now how come I can't have an awesome taste like that." Dina felt left out.
"Okay moving on...
You like Kay and MW are welcome to stay here or we can set you up with others willing to share their home with you.
I already made arrangements just incase." John explained.
The team chose to stay close to Cam and Johnny...
