Chapter 26

The boys all gathered at the picnic table in the center of the grounds.
They were eating breakfast, laughing and talking.
"I see you found one of my old jakets I left the last time I was here." Johnny smirked at Jef who approached the table carrying his and Tommy's plate.
"Wow its creepy you really look like Johnny now." Cam chuckled.
"I don't know, its weird but I still see you." Johnny laughed as Jef rolled his eyes as he joined them.
"Well he has your attitude." Cam elbowed Johnny.
Johnny looked at Cam with a sly smirk.
"What ever your thinking don't." Cam looked at Johnny seriously.
But what he didn't relize the younger twins were in on whatever Johnny was planning.
Without warning a bucket of ice water was dumped all over Cam.
Jef pulled Tommy away from the table just in time as the water splashed everywhere.
"Oh this isn't gonna get old fast." Cam grumbled as he wiped the water off his face.
"And that kids is how you get pneumonia." Bash chuckled as he wrapped a thick blanket around Cam who was shivering like crazy.
"Yyyou...

Wwwatch your...
Bback Johnny." Cam shivered.
"You kids and your pranks.
Its all fun and games till someone gets hurt." Elly half scolded as she smirked at them all laughing.
"True fact Cam is not a prankster.
He either goes to small or to far." Johnny shook his head and chuckled as he got in front of Elly.
Elly slapped Johnny in the back of the head.
"Go get him dry clothes and start a warm bath for him." Elly scolded.
"Geesh I was just messing with him its not like he's really gonna get sick." Johnny said and at that very moment Cam sneezed.
Elly raised her eye braws.
"You were saying?
As for you two go help cook in the kitchen." Elly sent the younger ones to the kitchen.
"I guess you and Cam are the only level headed ones." Elly teased as Jef and Tom came in.
Johnny mumbled as he walked away his hands in his pocket.
"A sneeze doesn't make you sick."
Few hours later Cam still shivered infront of the fire place.
"You know he might have been getting sick before you two did that." Elly checked Cam's forehead.
Bash brought in quilts and pillows for Cam to stay in front of the fire to stay warm and rest.
Jonah finally had a chance to relax and catch up.
"I was thinking in light of the clones here maybe its about time I fill in some missing facts." Jonah sighed as he took a seat.
Johnny and Jef both sat next to Cam on the floor to help keep him warm and comfortable, Cam rested his head on Johnny's shoulder.
Tommy played in his bedroom with one of the kids he met.
The younger twins sat on the couch behind the guys.
While Bash and Elly snuggle on one chair next to the fire place.
"I guess I should start with the facts of clones.
When your made your given an aging serum to speed up the aging process to the desired age.
Once you hit the age thats it you stop and just keep living, if you were mad properly that is and no one kills you..." Jonah paused as Sam cut in.
"So me and Andrew are never aging from this point?" Sam narrowed his eyes as Jonah nodded.
"Reameber those kids you saw they were over twenty years old.
Now some depending on who made them will actually keep growing so you boys might still age as will Tommy.
But Jef I do believe this might be your perminant age.
Now when this all started with my father.
He met someone who was into stem cell research, my father was fascinated with it.
They were close to getting it perfect while myself and Jones were playing.
He always said to stay out of the old oak but Jones was strong willed he loved to climb, he was a happy child and loving a brother.
I know its hard to believe that.
Jones climbed the old oak and he kept climbing but one of the branches broke and he fell.
I ran to get my father.
For a month my dad stayed in his lab with my brother's body.
Than one day the door opened and there stood my brother.
I didn't know at the time, for years even that he was a clone and my brother was dead and parts were taken just to create that thing.
Than one day he snapped...
I am not saying it'll happen to you boys you were cloned as they were alive not dead.
Anyhow...
Jones became fascinates with death and pain.
He drug me to our tree fort tied and gagged me, he forced me to watch him torture the maid's son.
I couldn't save the boy.
And when I was free I told my father everything, he just swept it under the rug.
Till Jones hurt our youngest brother, he was an infant at the time, after that he he banished Jones cuting him of as if he was dead.
In retrospect he was.
He used the thorns to mark him so they would always know he was a clone.
One day Bash, your father came to my father your grand father, whith his boy Alexander wrapped in a blanket you bouy were six, you were sobbing because you just witnessed him falling off the small cliff near the cabin he broke his neck.
Your dad begged him to bring him back.
Unfortunately my father did it.
That's why he pushed that girl off the cliff when you were just boys because he was a clone of a dead person.
The same for the other girl at camp.
That's why your father beat Alexander and chained him.
He didn't want Alexander to become Jones.
But what he didn't realize his harsh ways was creating another Jones." Jonah paused as he took a moment.
"So did they think me or Cam were clones when they carved into our arms?" Johnny asked.
"They were looking for the real CB.
See there was a Cameron my age.
Our bond was like yours.
They would torture him for days.
One day he had it and we figured out away for him to escape.
He took Tommy's brother with him.
He tried to take both boys but they were coming back." Jef spoke up in a soft sad tone.
"Wait your saying there's another me with a kid just roaming around hiding from them?" Cam asked through his coughing.
Jef nodded.
"I will alert my men hopefully we can find them first.
Now you all know why the two are so cruel and perfect pawns for the evil ones." Jonah sighed as he wiped a stray tear.
Suddenly the warning lights flashed and the fire was automatically snuffed out as the entire treehouse city went dark.
"What's going on!?" Jef stood as did Johnny who made his way to where the kids were playing.
Cam was also by his side.
"Where is he?" Jef snapped.
They looked around the room.
Than they heard the giggles of two kids outside.
Both Cam and Johnny bolted for the exit with Jef in toe.
Johnny reached Tommy's playmate first because he knew what was happening and was heading back in.
Tommy stood frozen with fear as he heard something heading their way. Cam was the first to reach him, Jef was along side him as Cam scooped up the boy.
"We need to get inside somewhere!" Cam yelled as he looked for the nearest place.
"There!" Jef yelled as he shoved Cam to a small tree fort.
Tommy almost spoke as one of the dark solders came into view Cam covered his mouth in time.
Jef was holding onto Cam and Tommy as he kept pulling them away from the opening.
"Where's Cam!?" Johnny snapped as Bash jumped him and covered his mouth.
"Your tree village my be protected from us but I know not all of it is.
You would think you'd train your children up right and know never be on the ground." The lead dark solider called out.
Cam spotted a small opening.
"Tommy see that bush over there go hide and don't come out until Elly calls your name." Cam stifled a cough as he shoved the boy through.
"They know we are here don't they?" Jef whispered.
Cam just nodded as he tried to muffle his cough.
"I will give you a choice.
Hand over your King and we'll consider spairing those inside this pethetic fort." The lead dark solider said as he nodded to two of his men.
The rushed into the fort.
Cam and Jef put up a good fight.
But with Cam being sick he was overpowered.
Jef tried to run for safety but that leader swung his staf making contact with the back of Jef's head.
Blinding pain shot through Jef as he fell forward.
The leader put his foot on Jef's back applying enough pressure to hold him still.
"Well that was exciting.
Now who will come claim these boys and traid them for the king?" The leader called out again.
As one of his men ran up.
"Sir I have been trying to reach you there has been a change.
Jonah has declared Johnathan and Cameron Black as his heirs and kings." The soldier panted.
The dark leader looked at Cam.
"Well to mday is my lucky day I caught both..." The dark leader stopped and sniffed the air.
He removed his foot off Jef's back forced him to his feet by pulling his hair.
Jef screamed in pain.
He sniffed him.
"Your not even human but I can tell by him they care for you boy.
Johnathan if you know what's best for your brother and decoy you better come out or I will destroy this creature." The dark leader growled as he held Jef like was going to snap his neck.
"I have to go out there let me go!" Johnny faught with he dad who pulled him to the ground and wouldn't let him go.
Johnny cried as he heard Jef scream in pain.
"Wait if you kill him you won't have any leverage." Cam spoke than coughed he was getting worse.
Still holding onto Jef he approached Cam.
"You dare speak." He slapped Cam.
"Yeah I do dare." Cam snapped after he spit blood out after the smack with a medal gloved hand.
"Look he might be a clone but he is not a decoy, he's family, a Duke even." Cam tensed for another smack but instead the dark leader smirked.
"Well you are one lucky clone.
Now where is Johnathan and Jonah!?" The dark leader growled as he called out again.
"If you don't get out here, we will burn this place to the ground, than we'll see how protected you really are." He laughed.
"Bash let him go." Jonah sighed.
"No I am not loosing my son to them.
Its bad enough they have Cam.
I'm not loosing Johnny too." Bash cried.
"Look either me and him go out there and you gather the others and come rescue us or you will be loosing everyone.
Look at those boys they need you too.
Bash I will protect them.
Please." Jonah assured Him.
"Dad I have to stay with Cam." Johnny sighed.
"We are going too." Sam said as he pulled Andrew forward.
"No you boys will stay they don't even..." Jonah was cut off with another call out from the dark Lord...
"Sir there are two others with them that look like him but younger."
"Jonah you best bring the other two decoys with you." The dark leader chuckled.
Jonah sighed as he squeezed his eyes.
"Okay you two walk out slowly and keep your hands out, no sudden movement...
Bash either you let him go or come with us.
I can't argue with you anymore about this." Jonah snapped.
Reluctantly Bash released Johnny and they both stood.
"Elly as soon as its all clear, gather the army and come rescue us." Bash kissed her on the head as he followed behind Johnny who was following Jonah.
"Oh well...
I didn't expect Sebastian Black.
Its been to long old friend." The dark leader growled as he chained Bash with the others.
"Not long enough Saul." Bash growled.
As Saul yanked the chain pulling them forward.
Johnny was by Cam practically supporting his entire weight.
Jef got on the other side to help.
They were led to a train similar to theirs but this one was dark.
"Welcome to the Dark Lords train.
You boys will continue with the back of the train accommodations.
As the adults will travel from the middle.
Once on board you my roam freely to a point.
As long as the adults behave no harm will come to the children.
But you boys must behave as well." Saul smirked.
Once settled in their room the boys were left alone.
Cam was not doing good at all.
"I think he has a fever, he's burning up.
I need to cool him down." Johnny went to the door, once he opened it he was met with a gaurd twice his size and he looked like his last captors.
"Your a fallen right?" Johnny weakly smirked.
The man creature just glared at him.
"Look I need something to cool my brother's fever down.
Do you have ice or a doctor?" Johnny half pleaded.
"Go back inside I will get the doc." The creatures voice was rough and deep.
"He's getting the doc.
Hey Cam open yourveyes.
I need you to stay awake." Johnny shook his brother.
To their suprise H.G and John were shoved in.
This did not sit well at all for Johnny.
As John attended to Cam, Johnny asked H.G how they were here.
"Turns out the hidden realm is not so hidden." H.G. sighed.
"My wife and kids Cam's wife and kids!?" Johnny panicked.
"Kay and her four got out safely.
But Dove along with your wife and two babies did not.
Gunter and Jordan are here as well.
I can take you to them." H.G sighed.
Johnny looked back at Cam, then he look at Jef.
"Go...
I'm with him.
Go check on the rest of your family." Jef said.
Johnny followed H.G through the elegant gothic halls of the train where they stopped at a door, they could hear Aaron and Anastasia crying and Lexi along with Gunter trying to calm them.
Lexi was shocked to see Johnny.
Anastasia wiggled her way out of Gunters arms and ran to her daddy.
Johnny picked her up and kissed her as he made his way to Lexi.
"Oh Johnny it was horrible.
They burst through the doors killed the gaurds.
Thankfully the nannys were there to help Kay escape.
I was in the front room with our children.
Miles, Bellamy, Toby, Octavia, Nic, Raven and his brothers were taken as well.
Lilly and Ariel escaped with Kay.
Oh Johnny...
I thought I'd never see you again." Lexi cried into his shoulder as she still held Aaron.
Johnny hugged both his wife and son as he still held his baby girl.
"Shhhh...
I'm here now.
Lexi I have to go check on Cam, he got sick and it got worse.
Once John says its okay I want you all moved in with us." Johnny gave his wife a long deep kiss.
"H.G take me to Miles and the others." Johnny practically ordered.
As soon as Octavia saw him she lit up.
Johnny hugged his younger siblings especially Miles who didn't look good himself.
"Hey you okay." Johnny asked Miles as he felt his head.
"H.G he's burning up.
Why dose it feel as if this was planned.
Like they did something to make them both sick.
Miles when did you start feeling sick?" Johnny askes as he took him back to his room for John to look at him.
"This morning." Miles coughed.
"Yeah Cam too.
How could they target them if they were separated?
It doesn't make sence.
And how did he know about the other two clones that traveled with us?" Johnny pondered out loud as they walked back.
"Spies." Miles shrugged.
As soon as they entered the room Miles body was to weak to support him any more.
John rushed over and helped Johnny lay him in one of the beds.
Cam was already in the oversized bed with an IV hooked to him.
"I think they were poisoned." John sighed as he got Miles stable.
"But why only target them?" Johnny asked.
"Cam is your motivation as is Miles, ever since you knew he was you full blood baby brother.
Plus Miles is a warriors and a known one at that within the realms.
If they are weak you are weak.
They are probably planning to use your emotions against you.
Johnny let them only use them as pawns in what ever they are planning and not start targeting your wife and babies.
I have plan to get them off but I don't know if it will work." John said to Johnny.
"I trust you John." Johnny gave him a hug as he left.
H.G was taking the first shift to monitor their health and fluids.
Johnny walked over to Miles and made sure he was comfortable.
Than he went to lay in bed with Cam.
"Crap...
I have to go tell Lexi what's going on." Johnny started for the door.
"I can go tell her if you want or stay with Cam." Jef suggested.
"Johnny go stay with Lexi.
Jef is here I'll be alright." Cam spoke softly in between coughs.
"You sure little brother?" Johnny smirked as he combed his fingers through Cam's hair.
"Yeah...
He's got your big brother calming afect down pact.
Remember the first night he was in our lives, he had me fooled till he triggered a memory." Cam gave a weak smirk.
Johnny leaned in and kissed Cam's forehead.
"Come get me as soon as you notice a change, good or bad." Johnny said to Jef as he walked out.
Johnny practically ran down the hall to Lexi's room.
They locked eachother in a hug the moment he entered, he sobbed in her embrace.
Lexi did her best to sooth him as he quietly sobbed.
The kids were all asleep, expet Dove who laid wide awake.
At some point Johnny cried himelf asleep as Dove crawled into bed with them squeezing himself in between.
Johnny chuckled and hugged the boy tight.
"Just like Cam." Johnny kissed the back of the boys head than leaned over and kissed Lexi.
"Eeew." Dove giggled as Johnny tickled him.
"How bad is he?" Lexi whispered.
"John thinks Cam and Miles were poisoned." Johnny sighed as a tear fell.
"Are you sure you wouldn't reather be with Cam instead right now?" Lexi inquired.
Dove thightened his hug on Johnny's arm.
"Couldn't if I wanted.
Dove is holding me hostage." Johnny teased as he playfully nibbled at Doves neck causing him to giggled.
Johnny needed to hear his giggles it made him feel peaceful right now...
Jef snuggled close to Cam as he soothingly combed his fingers through Cam's hair humming priceless softly.
"The day I started trusting you." Cam smirked, he didn't open his eyes they felt to heavy.
"Yeah...
I like the song." Jef smirked.
"How did you know that day what would calm me when I had a nightmare and why did feel so broken?" Cam spoke softly.
"Because of my Cam, not the little one my twin, he was weak, alot weaker than you in mind, he like you loved it when I played with his hair or tickled his back it helped him sleep.
I felt bad for what they made me do to you.
But I didn't know they used the same contraptions on you." Jef explained.
"I'm glad you did what you did.
If you didn't force yourself in our lives Johnny wouldn't be able to relax with Lexi.
He's due a break.
And your filling in that gap nicly decoy." Cam smirked and teased as he snuggled close.
Jef playfully pinched Cam when he called him decoy.
Cam chuckled as he fell asleep.
Jef was determined to stay awake the whole night.
But sleep took over as he slowly relaxed, his face practically snuggled in Cam's hair.
H.G. smirked as he came over and covered the two and checked his fluids, than he moved on to Miles.
H.G noticed the younger twins snuggled together also uncovered.
"What is with this family and lack of covering?" H.G. smirked to himself...
Lexi watch her huband and Dove sleep while she aimlessly played with Johnny's hair.
Turns out Johnny liked that too as he visibly relaxed more.
Eventually Lexi fell asleep as well.
Gunter took up being gaurd, he refused to sleep.
