Chapter 32

The following days seemed to go smoothly Anastasia talked about all the new friends she was making while they walked around exploring the island.
"Daddy why do bad men hurt kids?" Ana asked as she handed Cam a shell she wanted.
"Ana look at me...
What are you talking about?" Johnny sat her on his knee as she toyed with a pebble trying to do a trick Cam taught her.
"Well Scotty said he was taken by these men who beat him and starved him.
He still has marks like you and uncle Cam." Ana said as she smiled up showing she made it disappear.
Johnny smirked as he glanced where she dropped it.
"What my hand is to small." Ana smirked and shrugged as Johnny pulled her close and kissed her.
"Well the reason they do it is because they are weak and feel better hurting those weaker than them, they think it makes them feel strong.
But what makes anyone strong is love, without love there is nothing but hate and pain.
Understand?" Johnny tried to explain.
"Yeah like when uncle Cam was sad at dinner before we came here I made him feel stronger by loving him." Ana said as she looked at Cam and leaned on him.
"Exactly...
How old are you again?" Cam teased as he tickled her.
"Four in three days." Ana beamed.
"How was I so blessed to have beautiful and smart babies?" Johnny said as he scooped up Aaron and continued walking along the beach.
"Can we go swimming now?" Aaron asked from Johnny's shoulders as he rested his little head on his daddy's head.
"Did Ana put her suit on under her dress like I told her?" Johnny smirked.
"Yeah I did!" Ana got excited as she stopped looking for shells with Cam and stared taking off her sun dress.
"Well I was hoping for no." Johnny chuckled.
Johnny kicked off his sandles and started walking into the waves getting Aaron off his shoulders and held him so he could touch the water and yet not get swept away.
Cam did the same with Anastasia.
They giggled and kicked at the waves.
When they were done they made their way back to their room where Cam got the kids in life vests and took them swimming.
A pod of dolohins decided to come and play.
Johnny heard giggles than squeels which caused him to drop what he was doing in the kitchen and ran out to see the dolphins playing with the kids and Cam.
Johnny decided dinner could wait and joined them.
Ana swam over so he could hold her.
The dolphins were very curious of them.
"I see you met the dolphin pod we raised them right here when they showed up one day orphaned.
One older female the one fond of Aaron played as a surrogate mother." Ms. Light chuckled as she sat on the lower deck that was in the water.
"So even tramua dolphins come here to heal." Cam smirked and chuckled.
Johnny was happy to see his brother returning.
His eyes seemed to sparkle
again...
"Okay I think its time to eat." Ms. Light smirked as she came back out and helped with the kids.
"Man I can't get over how beautiful it is here." Cam said as they sat out on the deck and ate.
"So I got news your wives and little ones are coming tomorrow.
I hear its your birthdays tomorrow." Ms. Light smirked as she handed them each a small golden box.
Before the kids could take it both Cam and Johnny snatched it up.
"Isn't it to soon?" Johnny gasped as he toyed with the box.
"I talked to Gabriel he thinks its never to soon and since both kids are starting to dream of fighting them than its time they start learning.
Johnny this is a good thing, the sooner they learn the strong and more firm they will be in the protection.
If you boys would have stayed with your parents this world have been the same age your trainings would have started.
Granted thirteen is usually when you get your tags.
But that's also when those dreams start too.
But for them it started early.
Johnny you have to remember they were on that train well before you were.
You said they were crying when you saw them on the train.
Did Lexi say if they were seperated?" Ms.Light tried to explain.
"No I didn't get to even inquire.
Cam was sick.
I had to get back to him.
When I was able to get back to her I was exhausted.
Besides I just assumed they never left her sight.
Johnny said as he looked over at his children, Aaron was happily eating while Ana listened.
"Daddy...
They took us into a room.
There were theses tubes with liquid in it and these animals in jars." Ana said quietly looking up at him with her big emrald eyes.
"Ana did they do anything to you and your brother?" Johnny pulled her into a hug.
"They stuck a needle in my arm and took blood.
I heard them saying just like their daddy.
They seemed happy.
Than I heard Aaron screaming they stuck a needle in his back." Ana teared.
"Johnny this is why now is the time.
Ana told her therapist all of this.
Now as far as she has said this was all that happened but if anything more she hasn't said.
"When Aaron stopped crying they took us back to mommy.
Nothing else happened." Ana looked up at her daddy.
Johnny picked up his little girl and held her tight as Cam did with Aaron.
They gave them the boxes.
Ana's eyes lit up as she held up the dog tag.
"My skill is the same as yours daddy." Ana smiled as she held it up to his.
Johnny smiled as he hugged her...
That night it was Johnny who didn't sleep and for the first time Cam had to restrain him as he fought and screamed in his sleep.
"Daddy!?" Ana and Aaron stood in the door way watching Cam try to hold him still.
"Ana take Aaron and go in your room I'll come when he's calm okay." Cam said as calm as he could while restraining Johnny.
"Johnny open your eyes." Cam cried as he held him from behind.
It took sometime till Cam felt him relax in his arms and seemed to fall asleep again.
Gently Cam laid Johnny down and went to check on the kids.
Cam found them huddled in the corner holding each other.
"Is daddy going to hurt us again?" Ana said.
"What are you talking about!?" Cam pulled them over and held them.
"Before the dark soldiers daddy came home." Ana sniffled.
"Ana I never came home." Johnny sat down and pulled her over.
She snuggled against his chest as he held his daughter she shook with fear.
Johnny lifted her up and sat her on the bed.
"How did he hurt you?" Johnny asked as he looked her over.
"He slapped us.
When we cried...
Mommy didn't know.
He said he kill mommy and always hurt us if we told." Ana cried as she clung to his neck snuggling her face into his neck.
Johnny held her close as he too cried for not being their to protect her.
"Johnny is there another clone out there that's ruthless?" Cam whispered.
"I don't know.
Jef never said anything.
None of them have but you saw the younger two.
Maybe not all of it was Alexander." Johnny sighed as they carried the kids to their room...
The next morning Kay and Lexi stood in the door way and watched as their husbans slept with each child.
"Guess they had a big night." Lexi smirked as she went and snagged up to Johnny Kay did the same.
"Hey your here early." Johnny smirked as he wrapped his arm around Lexi and pulled her close.
"We need to talk." Johnny whispered before he kissed her.
Once everyone was up Johnny and Lexi stayed in the room.
"I had no idea...
I never even saw him Johnny." Lexi cried as she tried to leave.
"Lexi she said he hit her and Aaron, thats all.
I don't think anything else, she never seemed to question anything except why do bad men hurt kids.
Now if something happened and I pray it didn't but if so she will tell us when she's ready, until than we don't talk about it.
I don't want her exposed to something if she hasn't been." Johnny said as tears streamed down his face.
"I don't understand if that happened why wasn't she afraid of you or any of you?
She ran to you Johnny on the train." Lexi pointed out.
"Fathers abuse their kids all the time Lexi.
Kids will still go to them for safety.
Maybe there's something different about him she recognized, I don't know.
I'm going to talk to Jef, see if he knows anything." Johnny sighed as he hugged and kissed his wife.
"Oh how I miss this." Lexi giggled as Johnny kissed her neck.
"Yes but its their birthday best not now." Johnny winked.
"You tease." Lexi playfully slapped him...
Johnny pulled Jef aside to talk to him.
"Yes there's two of them.
The only two given real names.
Kane and Saul.
Kane is a mix of you and Jones.
Saul is a mix of Cam and Alexander.
They are ruthless, both have a scar Kane has one on his face like Jones, it was a defining thing plus his mix of peircing green and blue eyes his hair is slightly darker too.
Saul has a scar across his eye like Alexander from that time you tried to escape Alexander.
I don't know why they got the scars.
But they are bigger, stronger and older.
Skilled in the knowledge of every battle known to man and beyond that.
They can tap into their evil armor like breathing air.
Johnny trust me the best thing is to never have to face them.
Remember we were also given skills to heal, see through things and that is only two of the things we know of.
They have that plus what ever your uncles have." Jef said as he paced up and down in the sand...
Anastasia came up and jumped on Jef's back as he sat looking out at the blue ocean.
"Its almost time for cake." Ana said giggling as he fliped her over his shoulder and on to his lap.
"Ana did you know the man who hurt you wasn't me?" Johnny asked as he sat next to her and Jef.
"Yeah...
He looked like all of you but different.
His eyes were strange.
He had a mark on his face.
And he was mean.
He kept us hidden while those soldiers attacked.
They blindfolded us and carried us so we didn't see the dead gaurds but I saw under my blind fold." Ana sighed.
"Okay lets forget this and enjoy your party." Johnny smiled as he scooped up his baby girl.
It was a beautiful ocean view birthday fit for two royal four year olds.
Kay and Cam had their hands full chasing Abby, Emily, Justin and Daniel.
With two giggling one and half year old boys in each arm Cam fell into the soda.
"Kay your a Saint to do this every day." Cam teased as Kay sat with the girls next to him.
