Deception

Chapter 1

Johnny woke up with his wrists and ankles chained to a hospital bed.
He tried to get free but was to weak.
He looked at his right forearm and saw it wrapped with blood that clearly came through the bandage which turned his stomach as he remembered what happened.
"Hello..." Johnny tried to call out but his throat was raw.
"Good evening Mr.Black my name is Alexia Carter I'm the director of the FBI...
I assigned myself to you and your brother's case.
If I have those cuffs removed you promise to behave." Dr. Carter smirked.
There was something about the Black twins, that always captivated her.
"Whats going on?" Johnny looked up at the raven hair beauty her saphire eyes locked his ocen blue eyes.
'If love at first sight was true this must be it.' Johnny smirked slightly.
Lexi saw and smiled inside.
"Well I was hoping you could tell me...
What's the last thing you remember?" Dr.Carter asked.
'Yeah thats gonna be hard...
I mean clearly we are back in the normal world or whatever its called.
She isn't going to understand.' Johnny pondered in the moment she uncuffed him and sat his bed up.
"I should have someone come clean that." Lexi's eyes grew wide as she looked as the near blood soaked bandage.
Lexi stepped out into the hall to find the nurse.
"The other Mr.Black is still out." Derek her team leader and closest friend said.
He was sitting in a chair looking at the pictures his wife sent of there son and daughter's school play.
"I am so sorry Derek." Lexi frowned as he showed her a picture grinning ear to ear he was so proud of his kids.
"Hey no apologies...
I knew what I signed on for.
Besides you promised we go see the uncore next week." Derek smirked.
He knew it was possible they still end up missing that one too.
Besides his wife plus the school digital club was filming the whole thing.
"Hey when you talk to him be nice.
I have a feeling they are victims.
I don't think they signed on to have those drugs in them or be scared." Lexi said to Derek after she sent a nurse in to tend to Johnny.
"You think we actually got lucky and found the victims of that messed up cult." Derek looked like a giddy school kid that just got an A.
"Yes and no.
I don't think they remember much.
From the last one we lost he said it was like a costant dream.
Bouncing around from a horror to a pleasant dream feeling so real." Lexi half pouted as she thought of the boy only eighteen years old.
"Lexi you know he wasn't a total loss he is getting treatment.
Last I heard he is starting to relearn to walk and be more independent.
If it wasn't for you Lex who knows where or what could have happened.
You gotta take some of the wins." Derek hugged her.
"Lizzy is a lucky lady." Lexi smirked at her partner who was like a big brother to her.
She walked in as the nurse finished cleaning and putting ointment on the wound.
"You mind if I get a quick picture of your wound and your smile for your file." Lexi smirked as she pulled out her phone.
Jonny shrugged and nodded her an okay.
"What you think not to shabby." Lexi smirked as she showed him the pic of his face.
"I don't know?
I look a mess." Johnny sighed at the bruise on his cheek and eye not to mention the split lip.
"Well considering what you been through its not as bad.
Are you ready to tell me what you remember." Lexi went back to Dr.Carter on him.
'I was hoping he forgot.' Johnny thought as he clearly frowned.
"We went back to my families cabin..." Johnny started.
"So you know the leader of the cult." Dr.Carter frowned and went rigid and FBI like on him which made his heart sunk.
"Wait what cult?" Johnny asked with his eyes wide.
He just realized what she had said.
"You don't know?" Lexi felt bad jumping the facts.
"No I don't." Johnny's eyes narrowed.
"Should I have a lawyer?" Johnny looked at her scepticaly.
'Why do I feel like I know her?' Johnny thought as she frowned at his harsh tone.
"No...

Right now we are just getting facts on your condition.
If I think you could have been apart of the cult actively I will stop the interigation and advise you to have a lawyer present.
But from your condition I still see you as a victim.
I apologize for jumping the facts.
This case is a little personal." Dr.Carter said as she dropped her gaze.
"Can't be...
Lexi." Johnny whispered.
"Yeah but only my close friends call me that."
Lexi said as she fiddled with a jade butterfly necklace.
"Where did you get that?" Johnny had his idea but he wanted to be sure.
"Its a long story...
Short story I was kidnapped by the same people...
There were two boys...
One was very protective of me and his twin...
Unfortunately he was un able to protect from being well ya know in the other twin's room he was forced to witness...
I was three...
Than when myself and the brother were in shock for a few days the other twin tried to snap us both out of it...
I was to little to know exactly whst happended to me but anyhow we went exploring he found this in one of the rooms and gave it to me...
I stayed with them till I was five at that cabin till they decided sneek me out." A stray tear escaped her big sapphire eyes as she opened up to Johnny.
"I'm so sorry Lexi...
I never knew...
Cam dosent even seem to remember exactly what happened that day...
I think he might deep down you should have saw him when we went back he reverted to a child it was kinda creepy." Johnny half whispered.
"You were just a child too there was nothing you could have done either." Lexi wrapped her arms around him and hugged him as they both sobbed.
"I take it you found your long lost boyfriend." Derek teased in the door way.
"I told him about it minus a few details.
I was the director on your case that tried to keep you out of prison." Lexi smirked as she dried her eyes.
She handed him her card.
"How about we discuss this once your better and can go home." Lexi gave his hand a gentle squeeze as she put the card in his hand.
"Cameron Black said he only remembers going to the cabin.
Than waking in the dungeon and passing out during his carving.
He did say Alexander and Jones were behind it.
I looked up this Alexander turns out he is there estranged uncle.
He had a falling out with his older twin Sebastian Black.
Apparently he kidnapped the boys at some point.
There is no record on their parents where about." Derek told her as they walked to their car in the garage.
"You are so good with the internet.
I feel you are underraited." Lexi smirked and gave Derek a hug.
"Hey your coming for dinner right you know Lizzy insisted.
She wants to make sure you don't turn into a loner and getting cats and becoming...
Dr.Carter bad @$$ FBI by day and sometimes nights.
Lexi cat lady by off days." Derek teased.
"How long have you been working on that awful line?...
Of course I just want to shower first." Lexi laughed at her partner....
